10 man naxx a total SLOG with patch/Thad/Kt having 1000 million hp and are just completely annoying to fight for WORSE LOOT than 25

10 man was harder than 25 in many ways all of wrath. So no that’s not messed up at all. Fights that have mechanics exist are harder in 10 as scaling. Blizzard made 25 man eaiser intentfully and was even stated at the time due to the difficulty of maintaining a 25 man roster. The difficulty came from making and maintaining the raid team. While other fights esp those that are just pure numbers tend to be harder in 25 such as patchwork. 25 got better loot as people thought it was the true raid size and they wanted to reward those running in bigger groups as otherwise no point to do them vs 10 man.

This is why they got rid of the diff raid sizes having diff loot in later xpacs as could never get the balance of both right balance each other and went jsut with 25 droping more loot.

Went to do a 10 man VOA yesterday and no one realized until after we wiped that it was on 25 man, was a good laugh.

Sounds like you had people hard carrying you in 25m and not 10m lmao

Im doing a 10 man right now. No discord, all pug. Seems pretty easy. There is like 1 mechanic per boss you need to be aware of and once you got that down your golden.

We had a 10man group kill 25man Anub’Rekhan by mistake last night. Pretty funny.

Yes it makes little sense but that was what the og wrath team picked to do. Has nothing to do with the current wrath team which is what the op sounded to be targeting.

The og wrath team did give clear reasons for why they did that and at the time they had support of the community to do that also. Vary few people complained about 10 mana having worse loot in fact it was more common to hear about people wanting them to get less.

Yea we accidentally did the same thing as well. 10 man is still pretty easy. We one shot everything in naxx in under 2 hours.

That changed both diffs equally. This thread is about the 10 vs 25 diff as such the 30 percent diff has no real inpact on the relative diff.

What exactly did you want them to do? the same 30% buff was applied to both versions of naxx meaning any discrepancy of difficulty is not the fault of the current design team, but the 2008 team.

The extra hp and damage tests inefficiencies in your healing comp, do you healers know how to conserve their mana for longer fights while still providing the required output.

Just go clear Sarth 25 with 10 people.
