Well, okay, I never saw him liveā€¦

Iā€™ve never listened to rap, with the exception of the original Pokerap.

I was born in 1986.

Geh, Watership Down still gets to me when I think about it. Same with Plauge Dogs, was there ever an island?

I remember the moon landings.

Han Solo shot first. (My husband has a laser disk of the original cut, so we have proof.)

I only recall Apollo 17. The last moon landing. I was too young for anything else.

Ok Iā€™ll rephrase that my 1st car I bought brand new from a dealership was said 1976 firebird

I was 10 when my family got our first color TV, and it only had a 9" screen. It was all we could afford because they were so expensive back then. We all crammed on to my parentsā€™ bed to watch the 1972 Olympics on it.

Youā€™re old when you go to stand up and your knees ache and pop. Then when you do finally stand up you think to yourself ā€œwe made it!ā€

Sadly, Iā€™m old enough that the first computer I ever worked on was a mainframe, and the ā€œinternetā€ was referred to as ARPANET. Desktop computer? Donā€™t be ridiculous - youā€™d need an entire room for such a thing!

And I used to tie an onion to my belt, which was the style at the timeā€¦

I still catch re-runs on WeTv on cable - well, at least the Lennie episodes. You can watch it streaming on Peacock, but have to pay for itā€¦

Best show to binge watch. And yes, the Lennie and McCoy ones are the best.

Of course he shot first, because the two rules of Blaster Fu are shoot first and shoot often. (He kinda ignored the second.)

Same here, I think. I also remember Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz, and watching the Viking 1 Mars landing on live TV.

i first learned i was old when i got unreasonably excited about buying a vacuum cleaner

All that NASA stuff was staged by NASA with the help of Stanley Kubrick when he was alive.

ā€¦ but because Kubrick insisted on location shoots, they decided it was cheaper and easier to just do it for real.
