When you first enter a Battleground, and can look at the different team makeups and pick who will win ahead of time. Basically the team that has the three dps flavor of the month, with a disc priest will be the winner hands down every time.
I actually entered a kotmogu brawl earlier this morning that had 3 sin rogues, 1 fire mage, 1 havoc, and a disc.
My team consisted of 1 mm, 1 uhdk, 1 aff, 1 destro, 1 feral, and 1 rsham (me). I was preparing to get acquainted with the spirit healer when the DK spoke up and told everyone not to let the rogues sit on me.
To my surprise and delight, they actually peeled for me that game and we blew them out of the water. It was like watching a unicorn.
Some classes are ridiculous right now, but I’ll take players that know their class and work as a team over fotm rerollers any day.
I agree, there are some class disparities; however, by this time next week there will be some relief. At least one FOTM is getting nerfed into the ground.
Until then, just cyclone and root those disc priests until they rage quit.
I should add, that brawl was the exception, not the rule. 99% of random games that matchup would have had my eye twitching as I questioned my life choices.
No game is decided at the beginning. I’ve even had matches where I thought it was over half to 3/4 the way through then we come back and win.
I wholeheartedly agree.
I hear you even had a brawl where your healer didn’t get off the seesaw toy until after the first cap. The weird part being that your team was the one that got the cap playing 5v6.
I like the cut of your jib
It’s funny because I play a destro lock which is about ‘unflavorable’ as it comes and I can solo about 4 people in a regular BG with infernal CD.
Maybe it’s a ‘git gud’ situation.
