"You have learned the spell [Ritual of Doom]"

Literally every. single. time. I log into my warlock (i.e. this character I’m posting on) I get this message. It removes the Ritual of Doom ability from wherever I had placed it previous to my last logout and dumps it into the first available open spot on my action bar.

What appears to be happening, from what I can tell, is every time I log out it appears to unlearn Ritual of Doom from my spellbook and re-add it once I log in, effectively resetting any action button placement I try to make.

Using 100% stock UI.

I have the same problem with RoD as well as Nether Ward (pvp talent). I use Bartender to organize my spells. Whenever I log in RoD and NW are on my action bar in the first available slots.

I also noticed that I can no longer SHIFT-scroll to see other bars.

Same problem here. It drops it into my first, available, empty bar slot. Very annoying. I’ve noticed a few other nuances on my other toons with similar things but this one is by far the most reproducible and noticeable. Help Blizz!

I have been having the same problem on my warlock since the last patch.

Same, exact problem for me here since i faction changed my warlock about a week or two ago

Same problem. Continuously move it back to its place on my side bar only for it to be moved to my bottom bar each time I log on.

Same issue here as well, and I currently use the default UI. I’ve tried moving the Ritual of Doom spell icon to a different slot on the same Action Bar, assigning it to a hidden Action Bar, putting the spell on 2 different Action Bars at the same time, and removing it entirely, all to no avail. Someone even suggested trying to do all of the above in Dreadscar Rift and logging out there, but RoD still ends up right back in the first available empty slot I have on my visible Action Bars the next time I log in again.

Having exact same issue, regardless of what set of add-ons I have enabled. Even when I disable all addons, logging out and logging back in again resets Ritual of Doom on my action bar. Such a PITA.

Well glad to see it’s not just me. It’s been happening for quite awhile and I thought it may have been a bar addon. On the other hand, not glad it hasn’t been fixed yet.
