Problem with Spell Ritual of Doom - Solved

For some reason the spell kept appearing on my hotbar every time I logged into my Lock, even after I removed the spell and “hid” my hotbar, would log out and back in, the spell and bar retuned. Put in a bug report but decided to put in a ticket as well, and I got the nice response from a GM.

The GM messaged me back and said they logged onto my character and saw the spell show up like I said. They moved it around and even deleted it and hid the hotbar, logged out and back in, then saw that just like I said the hotbar and spell came back.

They said they looked into it and it is a known Warlock issue that is being looked at, but here was no guarantee or time frame of when a fix may happen.

Their solution for me was to go back to my Order Hall (Legion) and unlearn the Ritual of Doom spell. Did that and the spell has not returned and the hotbar stays hidden.:slight_smile:

So if others have this problem, go back to your Order Hall and change the spell at the researcher.

I know this is a couple of days late but thanks for getting an answer. It was driving me crazy.

Apparent they missing the real fix that needs to be done.

Fix the damn thing so that we don’t “need” 3 people just to have a chance at the hidden Destro skin.

That goes for Ritual of Summoning as well.

I’m gonna speculate and bet that a recent “Fix” for automatically adding the racial abilities was made because people were having trouble with the faction-switch in Battle for Dazor’Alor.

Since this is a ‘legacy content issue’ that conflicts with current content fixes, I really doubt they’ll touch it again, especially if we can work around it by swapping that order hall upgrade option ourselves.

It’s probably as ‘fixed’ as it’s gonna get.
