You have 2 weeks

They said we’d have time to level our BEs and Draenei and enter the Dark Portal with our friends.

Go away, troll

Your definition of casual is extremely wide when the reality is that you have a problem.

They did not say that, they said

20:17

Pre-patch will come out and you’ll be able

20:19

to start your blood elves and draenei.

they say that every xpac, its like the guy who cheats her wife and say, i promise to you that this was the last time

and atm, i don’t know what i want to lvl in tbc, maybe a warlock since they are good at everything and seem less boring than a one button macro hunter

“you’ll have lot of time to level your shaman and paladin”

GOT YA!!!

if only they ever said that.

But they didn’t, now did they

google hard i’ll just post more act like i know everything

show me where Blizzard said that.

I’ll wait

Plus he had a ton of people helping him.

Considering the original tbc release didnt alot any time for leveling the new races, we are at least gaining some prep time to level/gear shamans/pallys. 2 weeks might be tight for some, but it is more prep than anyone had back in original content. If your complaint is around other classes, then you’ve had years to prep and with the current boosting meta still in game you could get a 60 pumped out pretty quick. It isnt ideal, but they have their financial and schedule reasons for why they are doing it this way.

i have like 67g on my lvl 18 priest, not sure i can get boosted to anything with that hahahaha

And you cut out the context that came before that.

We’re going to give players access to blood elf and draenei early, so that before we actually open the dark portal, you’ll have a chance to level those up.

I remember, I had a friend who was really frustrated that the rest of us were running around in Outland, and he was like, “I’m still back in Wetlands.” Yeah. “What is going on? When can I play with you guys?”

Also:

With the release of the Burning Crusade Classic pre-expansion patch, players will also get access to the Blood Elf and Draenei races early before the Dark Portal opens. This will allow players to get a jump on leveling so they can join their friends in Outland.

A reasonable person (a.k.a. not you) will read this and think “Oh, they’ll release a pre-patch so that I have time to level my toon before the Dark Portal opens. I’ll be able to join my friends in Outland instead of being stuck back in Azeroth”

Where did they say:
Extended pre patch
A long pre patch
Enough time to level to 60
Lots of time

They said you would have time to level and access to leveling at prepatch

Like I said, a reasonable person would interpret this far differently from someone who simps for Blizz.

A reasonable person wouldn’t think Blizzard promised them something they never did.

You are getting access to level during the prepatch when originally you only got to level at tbc launch.

If it was 4 weeks people would still complain it wasnt enough time because they wanted more naxx lockouts for their belt.

Some people on these forums honestly we were getting months long pre patch because blizzard said “you’ll have some time to level”.

I mean really…

People who play non stop don’t understand what a normal schedule is.

Sure they do. They are the ones who also book off holiday time, or grind double time over weekends.

I’ve got my time booked for the first week, and I intend to be 70 the Monday following release at the latest.

That way, when you have a ‘normal schedule’ of 40hr work weeks, you are able to keep up with the sweaty people while still working.

In a separate interview, she pointed out that the 58 boosts can’t be used on blood elves or draenei, so they want to make sure that we have “a minute” to level. A minute not meaning an actual minute, but a significant amount of time.

But sure, keep doing twister to justify Blizzard’s decision here.
