I can be 60 in days without a mage. Did they say there would be no xp nerf in the prepatch? Because if thats in then itll be even easier.

Are mages still going to be able to do 1 pull bs in the prepatch?

Or get that money. Either is good.

I’m pretty sure it’s in.
But yeah, I’m not too worried about getting to level 60 in time for June 1st.

Same here. I think a lot of people are freaking out without all the information. Either that or they misunderstand the information.

How long would you estimate it takes for someone to level to 58 even with the XP nerfs?

Yeah, and even if people are super casual for whatever reason it may be, why do they need to be 60 on launch day? It’s not going anywhere tbh. I think people are catastrophizing a bit

It depends on the person. I was in STV when most people were still in Elwynn or westfall on classic launch. I practice leveling routes on pservers. It depends on how much someone plays the game.

I am not a person who is pro making it easier because people don’t have time. It’s not my fault people don’t have time to play anymore. I’m not saying you’re saying that. I’m just throwing it out there.

I think if you play for maybe 6-7 hours a day you should be at 60 with some time to spare. A 35% xp nerf is a lot especially at the higher levels

They all think its their time to be hardcore but they aren’t. They know they won’t be 70 anytime soon with the rest of us. They want blizzard to make it so they can be though. They want blizzard to cater to casual players. Casual players who barely play the game as it is and would still barely play the game even if blizzard did.

Give me an estimate in /played time, not calendar days.

Maybe 5 days /played?
Maybe i’ll try to do the math later

Well we know Jokerd did it in 4 days played? something like that? And that was at classic launch. Now we are going to have more quests in Azeroth to level with, faster leveling from 20-60. If you really play the game theres no reason a normal person couldnt do it in a week played. If they actually dedicate themselves to doing it. Again, there is no real /played I can give you because literally everyones situation is different. I got lucky and guessed May 18th for launch. I got prepatch. Luckily ill still be off on launch too. Not to mention theres gonna be a ton of people leveling up in the prepatch too AND tons of boosts to be had as well.

I think I was at 6 or 7 days played to 60 at classic launch myself. That was with no boosts and not a lot of people to dungeon with because I was ahead of the majority of the pack. I imagine I can do it much faster this time around with all the resources available. I even have my own mage to boost my shaman with.

ok, lets take 5 days /played (for me that would be silly fast, but for the sake of argument, let’s use it)

5 x 24 = 120 hours

Over 14 days, that means you would have to play more than 8.5 hours every single day.

See the issue?

ok, a week of played time means playing 12 hours a day for 14 days straight.

and you think that is reasonable?

What do you think people are doing for tbc launch? Leveling 1 hr a week?

There is a massive chasm between 12 hours a day for 14 days and 1 hour per week.

9-12 hours a day for 14 days straight sounds reasonable to you does it?

Then why are you trying to keep up with people doing it?

So what you’ll be 2-3 weeks behind and people will still be running dungeons and karazhan

I played for 2 days straight at a time when classic launched. Again I said its different for everyone. You’re trying to get me to give you an arbitrary number so you can try to tear it down.

I do not care about what you think is reasonable. I plan on playing for days straight at launch. I practice my routes on pservers. I race to max level. Do you think I care if you can’t make it to 60?
