They didn’t need to change it. Why would they have an issue with something that didn’t move, didn’t have these options, didnt have this art style and didn’t replace assets they were capable of seeing and using without doing a thing to it?
These are people who use the base UI, genius.
They can’t. Because it’s not the same. It’s not the same coloration, art, style, sizes, etc.
my problem isnt the ui itself but thefact they half asd it . Cant move the xp /rep bars and you cant move the super tiny micro menu into a better spot like i used to be able too. Anddddddd they made it so see through it might as well not exist its terrible , like let me choose the colors i want good lord or have the option to use old ui .
You didn’t read. I never once claimed the UI shouldn’t have been updated. “They” references the people who play the game, dislike the UI and used the base version.
Again you didn’t read. Don’t get involved in conversations if you’re not going to actually read the conversation.
Personally you’re not even getting the context of what OP is even saying. He’s not referencing people with disabilities, he’s not talking about the people who have actual mental disabilities or personal struggles that would make an otherwise easy thing understandably hard for them.
He’s talking about people like me or you who are perfectly capable of comprehending it but use the ‘laborous task’ of having to move this around or this around or the tediousness of arranging something of which they only have to do once in their entire life [So long as bugs don’t undo it all] as justification to claim the new UI is garbage.
It’s not Blizzard’s fault that they wanted to make their hotkey bars and arranged abilities so complicated for themselves. It literally does take at most 30 minutes to figure it all out and arrange things to how it was with the previous UI. Not hours. Good job.
Ive spent the last 5 years trashing Ion and crew, getting weekly suspensions. Ive had so many 30 day vacations Ive lost count…and Im sorry…this UI IS very good, minus the bugs and a couple more changes it definitely needs.
Theyve complained so hard over some things that are so pointless that they have me of all people defending blizzard now. lmao.
Not trolling at all, 102 hrs later and my UI still isnt set up. Aside from moving the chat window a little bit so a few old friends could know I wanted to give them some things.
You cant seriously expect us to believe youve been at this for 102 hours.
So…102 hours of you NOT trying to just figure it out or just using the basic set up included in the edit mode.
I’m not saying many people aren’t complaining because of this. I think Dragonriding is absolutely awesome, but I’ve shared my sympathies with those who suffer motion sickness and vertigo because I still can experience this from a bridge accident I had.
But there are also many people who are complaining just to complain that they have to do work to get what they had with the previous UI, which I don’t blame them for being frustrated by, but this by definition does not make the new UI garbage or trash and it’s the justification people are using against it.
You don’t need to get mellow dramatic and ignore me for clarifying the context you missed yourself. OP is like me and has got no clue how to express this appropriately for everyone to understand now because the original impression has been made and there’s just no fixing it. Just like me in the past, he is now a piece of and called a troll because nobody got the context of what he was originally referring to.
No, not at it 102 hours, but 102 hours since I 1st saw it. Just didnt set it up. Came to the forums instead. Found out how fun and welcoming the community is. Decided I’ll just stay here instead.
You sound like that experienced player who told us he had already spent “tens of hours” messing with it on the beta and ptr, who couldn’t understand why players who have never used an addon didn’t understand it right away.
I just want to know why they didn’t add coordinates to the ui. What the heck?
