It did take me hours. Until I gave up and just edited the button hotkeys.
I really wish they had allowed for more than 2 anchor points on the bar.
After that I was recreating my UI that I have used for uhhh… since Warlords.
I do feel bad for the people who look at Edit Mode and panic. My point with the OP was assuming anybody was trolling when they said it took many people hours to setup their UI.
It did for me but I’m not complaining nor granting myself any bravado. I’m just meticulous. The people who claim it took them hours are more so just complaining as if they were forced to do it against their will. Not anyone looking for a petty trophy.
Either way they could’ve taken like 5 minutes just making it look like the prior UI layout.

Right and i understand that but im not talkin about the ppl who take time to make there ui perfect for themselves but im talking about the ppl who are hating the new ui and come on the forums to complain about how bad,complicated,stressful it is when in all reality its not.
Again im not talking about the ppl who spend time on there ui to make it perfect for them but am talking about the ppl that all they do is cry about how the ui is bad etc.

I got my tripe set up within a few minutes . . . then a few seconds from that WoWhead article so yea . . . I admit its a bit jarring at first but I’m getting used to it.
Change can be scary but its usually a good thing.

Because it literally is. You’re being condescending and demeaning towards people who may have disabilities, be older or just don’t have the brain power due to some circumstance to figure out the new UI.
Yes, there are lots of other games that do this and yes, it shouldn’t be rocket science. BUT… for some it feels that way, because of their situation. Something I thought of after I said that the new talent system wasn’t difficult to figure out. But then I realized it is for some. Not everyone is you. Not everyone picks these things up easily. There are actually a decent number of players that only play this game, have disabilities or other issues that make this difficult for them.
Gorg wasn’t wrong. If you grew up some, learned some perspective and respect, you wouldn’t be so condescending towards those who can’t figure it out and hate it.
Uh no, he made a post about the people who are being very overdramatic about the new UI and exaggerating the difficulty it takes to spend 5 minutes making it look like the previous UI layout and then using this as an excuse to call the new UI garbage.
I’m still using it in a similar way. My hotkeys are arranged EXACTLY as they were when I just had the 2 hotkey bars and the two smaller ones on the side. Well guess what I did. I still have the two hotkey bars and just added two smaller ones on the side.
Same thing, same layout, took me 40 seconds. And then they can just move the rest of the crap by clicking and dragging it to it’s previous position before the pre-patch.

Ok so your saying ppl with disabilities,of age ect didnt have a huge problem with the previous ui? Bc from my understanding you pretty much had to go to a 3rd party site and download 3rd party addons in order to move things around or…check this out… they left it as is and can still leave it as is rn
