Plenty of people love the new ui. I am one of them.
But also plenty of people hate it, and I don’t fault them for it. It was launched with very little instruction, and not everyone is experienced with these systems.
They liked just not having to deal with it.

I just set mine to classic mode and called it a day.
It’s not any less intuitive than the dozens of hotbar addons that people seem to have no issues grappling with. I think people are just being ridiculously negative.
And they dont have to deal with it, they can leave it ss is like how hard is it to understand that… nobody is forced to tweak the ui if you cant do it like how hard is that to grasp?

The base UI is already fine, too. The only criticism I find valid is that the menu icons in the bottom right corner of the screen are way too small.

Yea agreed. Only other complaint for me is i cant move the LFG eye icon from the bottom to above the map, but thats not a big deal tbh.
Not everyone uses addons.
You act like everyone does and plays like you do.
How hard is it to grasp that some people never wanted a new ui, and saying “leave it as is” is an idiotic statement, since the “Modern” ui setup they start you with is completely different than the old ui.
Even the “classic” one is still quite different.
You really need to stop insulting and attacking people.
Like I said earlier, grow up.
I’d like to see those complainers try to use ElvUI LMAO!!!

I would estimate 80% of people that use ElvUI have no idea what it actually does, and just see someone else’s setup… say “that’s cool”, and just import it.
Sometimes, too much config options is too much.

I’ve been using ElvUI for many years. You really don’t have to use everything in it. It took me about 2 hours to set it up the way I wanted it at the beginning. You can then copy profiles for your alts. It is a complicated UI is you haven’t used it before, but well worth it.
It’s the best UI I’ve ever used in WoW. I was really hoping this new UI would be great, and I agree for people who have been playing WoW since vanilla it is. I love ElvUI way too much to change.

Like i said earlier if you take it as an attack/insult that’s completely on you most ppl here have said the ui is fine you can completely leave it as is but if you tweak the ui and complain that it’s complicated and stressful etc that is also on you bc you are putting yourself in that situation its not the ui’s problem,game, or devs fault but your own
I don’t act like anything. Bartender4 alone has 56 million downloads on CurseForge. I’m sure ElvUI has a ton, too. This isn’t even including the many other hotbar addons that are available. Not everyone uses hotbar addons but it’s not an insignificant amount that does.
Nothing has changed. Outside of your character portrait and enemy portrait, everything is still within the same general location. The only thing that has changed is the ability to customize, which you 100% do not have to tinker with.

our objectivity fades.
Maybe I try to always be understanding of other peoples desires. There is nothing in this world that is universally agreed upon.
