How many games have as many servers as they do? They have to install the software on them and make sure there are no major issues. Nor do those games typically have as much content.

If I still had TL3 this is the part where I’d insert a demonic fridge dog shouting: “ZUUUUUUUUL!!”

But they used their selective reading skills and selective memory skills to plug-n-play with reality.

I dislike waiting to play again like every other player in this game, but think of the time we can now spend on other things that actually matter in our lives during this down time. Come on guys and gals, get up and go do something (except for me, I have to stay here and reply to forum posts)!

Right? I am on here for now, but I am about to go play some Devil May Cry 5 for fun, then Cyberpunk 2077 to get some more of my final playthrough. Sitting at 2k hours in cyberpunk and almost got 100% cheevos. First game good enough to make me want to actually give it 100%. This time I am just super hacker extraordinaire, clearing out Maelstrom dens with a few wellplaced hacks and, oops…they accidently all pulled their personal guns and knives out and…well, uninstalled from irl…Cyberpunk is wild.

Aiming to do the secret ending with Cyberpunk to cap it all off by…well, spoilers so nvm.

Then after my Cyberpunk massacre session I will likely play Katamari Reroll or some Wobbledogs and do some painting later.

You are the type that would complain that there’s nothing to complain about.

It’s 33% of a single day. And if they didn’t do it we wouldn’t have new content. Do people really walk around in life thinking stuff just happens with no effort from anyone. Like…all these people crying about an update, do they really think this stuff just happens without a large group of people trying to do their jobs. Working on 20 year old code to give them a literal 20 year anniversary patch? They think it should just…be.

I think for everyone crying about a patch should be labeled and the patch shouldn’t apply. No more patches for them. Let them never have to offline again. They are just permanently online…never logged off. They get the exact same game today as they will 5 years from now.

Stuff takes effort ffs. It’s 15 cents worth of game time. Go outside …
