Ff14 also has live GMs and doesn’t wait on silly ban waves.
They ban immediately.
Imagine being a billion dollar company but can’t shell out some small change for 70 live GMs to monitor your game from the inside…
If they would hire 1-2 LIVE GMs per server, these servers would be cleaned up in under a month.

This is why I’m done with this. You’re one of the people where trying to have a discussion with them just plain sucks. You shift the goalposts, change your position, don’t accept any evidence that doesn’t support your position, and then you make claims with no justification and when asked to provide justification, you just keep ducking, which is pretty telling. It’s a waste of time to argue with someone who’s so intellectually dishonest, so yeah, we’re done here.

If you are all worried about bots getting ore and herbs…why not make a rogue alt using boost?
You could instance herb farm and stuff.
Just find other ways to fight bots.
Also if bots are a big deal why not spend time making groups of 10+ people to spam report bots?

Have you payed attention to how blizzard works for customers service? Open your eyes people. They had major layoffs in CS department. Unfortunately they need our help. The best thing we can do as players is to report bots. The best way is in mass. I don’t think many of you have worked in CS before especially when the company has gone through major changes. I can sit here and say it shows)
I have sat outside of DMT when I’m selling buffs and report every hunter bot in dmt (you can tell by how they go in and out if they are a bot, and the lvl 56 hunters farming it are a huge give away as well, lol.
I have gotten confirmations from blizzard multiple times through their automated mail saying I helped report a bot to ban it.
Itsa good feeling when I get a new one. I think I’m up to 12 so far, which isn’t a lot, but still a decent collection lol.
Sometimes 1 person isn’t enough. The issue you have is blizzard works on a % of reports. Once it hits a certain point then it flags it.
So yes you as 1 person are reporting that 1 person. The question is are others. That’s why I said instead of being on blizzard threads qqing why not make a group of 10+ peeps for spam report bots
Because I’d rather not support or show people how and where to cheat. Pretty sure it wouldn’t be allowed under forum TOS anyway. Do some quick google searches you will find them, it’s not hard.
You can only afford 2 non boosted accounts for 1 boosted over a 4 month period. Not 4, unless you assume the accounts all get banned in 1 month.
For the particular case of botting, I do think the automatic boost to 58 is going to help them. Their whole thing is to avoid actual work in the game, and yet here people are assuming they’d prefer handling the leveling of 4 (really 2) characters for 50+ hours.
Yeah but add the bots to your friend list then report them. Blizz will still send you the same automated message, but then the next day or later you’ll see on your friends list that the bots are still playing.
You are presenting a false dichotomy as if botters ONLY had the choice between 1 boosted character or 4 unboosted ones. They don’t. They will buy as many accounts as they can afford or occupy with their computer power.
Botters will buy as many characters as they want and boost them to make more money. Boosted accounts will make more money than unboosted ones because the 58 boost allows them to start generating profit almost immediately compared to starting at level 1. Thus, they make more economic sense to buy boosts.
Also, unboosted accounts starting at level 1 have a far higher chance of getting banned since they are out in the open levelling and spotted by players and reported. Nevermind the fact that, if they are banned while levelling, it’s a bigger loss for the botter as the account made zero money. So saying it’s the exact same 4 month life cycle for both unboosted and boosted toons is disingenuous.

They have to level to 70…they have 12 levels out in the world.
Once again this whole thing is pointless, no one truly knows if its worth it or not for them, youre just spouting your opinion about it just like i am, at the end of the day Blizzard is the 1 responsible for removing the bots.
The boost isnt the issue, its Blizzards lack of response on bot removal.
The boost is happening no matter what happens on these forums.
