Nope. M+ wasn’t added to Retail till Legion. MoP, WoD and Cata are Retail expansion didn’t have it. So there were 3 Retail expansions before that feature was added.
It isn’t though which I have already highlighted.
Yes it was. Then it was continued and expanded in MoP.
Battlegroups
Arena teams
TCG system
A multiple part prelaunch event that was already started by now
No WoW tokens
No transmog
No guild roster UI changes
And did not give the full Twighlight Cultist set for free when that one was earned the first time during prelaunch, was only 3 pieces, were very difficult to get all 3 and could not be transmooged in retail WoW until just a tiny bit ago. I have held onto that set since December of 2010. One of my retail toons is mogged to it currently.
But this version looks a lot cooler than that one. AND the fact that there are addons that auto sell all grey items. I am lucky I didn’t have one of those up and lose that mog forever in retail. Grey items are gone forever if you log out after you sell them back in the day.
In no way shape or form can you sit there and claim this Cata Classic is same as original Cata. And the fact that you say that it is is proof that you did not infact play as you claimed to have.
or 2.0, in the sense that retail is repeating itself in the same way.
come on… What happened to the classic servers? For that there is already a retail towards War Within, here we would have each classic expansion to the taste of a player, I don’t think it is a cost problem for each server because little maintenance is obtained.
Or did I forget, they are expansion of 2010 and I see problems as if it were worse than 2024 in retail, what is happening? These things should not happen with ready-made content and avoided for some current problems.
I think Blizzard is failing to give a classic experience to players without having any trouble doing it.
At the end. But t is out now in the beginning. This version of the Twighlight stuff is way cooler than what we had the first time around and you couldn’t even mog that back then. All you could do was put it on.
It started in Cata when they added 3 Raid tiers with LFR. This is why multiplicative bloat started and took off. The power creep in Cata is astronomically higher than Wrath. It’s a problem that still exist in Retail today.
Wrath was still similar to TBC in gearing and power creep. Cata it was just a different game. It went from zero too 100 real quick…or should I say 100k.
Lets also not forget TBC to Wrath was 10 character levels increase. Stats and game very similar. Cata only 5 character level increase and everything was 10 or 20+ times bigger. It’s cause Cata’s design philosophies drastically changed.
Wild how 95+% of the diehard Vanilla-Wrath people are aboslute dog water at anything after those lol. I think secretly, they just didn’t like that the “hardest” part of the game (leveling) was overtaken by actual difficult content, (endgame) which btw, is MILES ahead of the endgame of those three xpacs difficulty wise.
“NOOOO WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT ONLY TAKES A COUPLE DAYS TO HIT MAX INSTEAD OF A YEAR!!!1!1!11!!11”
“YOURE TELLING ME THAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE BUTTONS TO PRESS NOW INSTEAD OF AUTO ATTACKING AND WANDING WHILE LEVELING?? YOU WOULDNT LAST THE MONTH THAT IT TAKES TO GET 10-15”
“I ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO MECHANICS IN RAID NOW INSTEAD OF STANDING AND SMASHING THE SAME TWO BUTTONS??”
Focus was a mechanic intended for hunters as far back as vanilla, always funny to see people complain about how ‘retail’ it feels when it was an original intention of vanilla devs.
