It’s super easy but you’re super lazy.
I did it on my main, got revered and been revered for awhile now. Didn’t farm rares, didn’t do my 3wq every day consistently and was off the game for close to 3 weeks.
It’s super easy and takes barely any time.
Don’t want to do it, then don’t but don’t whine and throw a tantrum because you fall behind.
I care.
It’s a big point of aggravation to me because I can not convince people to come back when there are weeks of grinding to be done to be on the basic level as everyone else, and this is just for a single (albeit extremely important) piece of gear.
“Yeah bud its the ‘easiest its ever been’ but I won’t be able to play with you in any competitive setting for 6 weeks until you get your double leggo.” Great selling point 
There’s a big light at the end of the tunnel for the grinds on this patch. If you can buckle down and just get revered on one toon then you’ve made it for the next 12 months of no more grinds. It’s a huge sigh of relief.
You can even buy torghast currencies with cosmic flux and mail them to a fresh alt.
Download handynotes and spend 30 minutes flying around collecting all the easy treasure boxes for 200 flux each and killing any rare you are semi close to. After 30 minutes you have enough flux for 2 legos and a tier.
Six weeks? Yeah, definitely not a great selling point when you exaggerate the time investment necessary.
You get the belt at honored. That takes, what, a week? Couple weeks? There’s your double leggo.
Is it really that dififcult? I have a main who I had revered on as soon as I was able to. And my alt MW has been doing the weekly and 1-2 dailies when I can fit in in. Also trying to do a bit of raiding… it took about 3-4 weeks I think to get revered. I don’t really see the reason to complain as much as you’re doing.
I feel exactly the same way.
I’m like 2000-3000 rep away from exalted, it’s not that hard. Kill world boss and do daily quests, u’ll be revered quick.

Did you level solely via battlegrounds
Because 10 mins of world quests (which you can do while queued for pvp) is as close to ideal as we can really get
Leveling is leveling, I have no problem with PvE being part of the leveling process. That has been a part of this game since the very beginning. What I do have a problem with is forced PvE to get a PvP upgrade.
Zereth Mortis is like 10000x improvement on what we’ve previously had.

It’s not forced. Try to twist it however you want but you are not FORCED to pve to pvp.

ZM is fine except for conduit rep rewards for alts. Should be account-wide. Also give me a way to send cosmic flux to alts. Never thought it was an issue until I started gearing another alt yesterday and noticed I need 4k alone to craft my legendaries and I had zero. Not to mention if I wanted to work on crafting tier pieces.
I get where the op is coming from. Got a buddy who has been in there a few times is no where near the req rep for unity and only finish his 7 chapters last week. but he only logs on once a month or so for a few hours, if you play every day then there isn’t really an excuse to not do it, you can do the 3 wq while you que and do the world boss once a week. My alts that I only log on once a week is already revered.

It baffles me how its a sub based game and ppl are ok with timegated grinds is really astounding, in a time where the game needs accessibility more than ever we got yahoos sayin BuT ItS nOt HaRd.
Dosent matter still timegated.
I imagine their internal metrics suggest that it’s successful content, and/or they’re scared of not having hoops for people of all skill levels to jump through after they had an unstructured experience (wod) nearly brick the game.
It’s very difficult content. I understand how op could be struggling with it.
