It’s the same in raids. Ever since Kil’jaeden posted his game-winning strat on the r/wowfinalboss subreddit, almost every boss since has adopted the “fight them on a really high platform with no edges and have knockback mechanics” approach.
Seeing as gear cap is like 489 i expect it to one shot some classes this week in higher keys just because of the difference in intended item level. The stam gap is pretty big this season from 440 to end gear this patch.
Did an 18 Murozond’s Fall (the second half) last night and the adds on the last boss were just creaming me, sitting there as a 447 Brewmaster with zero upgrades this season and almost no magic defenses (because Brewmaster). They just sit there and chunk massive uninterruptible casts at you. Healer had to get off of ball duty just so he could plant and heal me when an add was up.
coz is fun for blizzard to make healers miserable. In fact it is their mission and is in their about us section “We at blizzard is proud of ourselves to make all m+ healers miserable. We love the idea or making them stress and having heart attacks. In fact we are not done screwing healers. We will soon buff every players hp by 50% and all damage they receive by 50% and decrease all healing from all healing abilities by 50%”
isn’t this lazy tank design too? Like why are we all (except possibly DK) so susceptible to magic damage? Surely if we’re TANKING, we’ve figured out a way to not have bleeds/dots/magic destroy us.
I think that healing is fun when you and your group are on the same page and somewhat coordinated but in pugs it’s really just three moody cats being herded around by the tank and healer.
Just need to bring back the vengeance system. Except this time instead of tanks having it, give it to healers. The more damage the tank takes, the angrier we get and can blast bigger heals.
