Why is there alwyas one dungeon in every season that does this crap?
Make EXCELLENT time all the way to the last boss nad then it just bricks?
Any reason why this boss needs to be 90000x harder than any other boss this season?
ANd to top it off…we get all the way there and could time it and we have bunch of entitled jerks who just leave after 1 or 2 wipes when we still have 7-8 minutes left on the timer…

I’ve been dreading that boss all week, and it was the last key I ran. We finally got to it with 10 minutes left, and finished the key with 30 seconds left. And that’s on a +2.
The crazy things there are other bosses that are worse. Ara-Kara just has overdesigned bosses. Like why are there adds on the second boss? That makes 0 sense, and the poison thing is just completely unneeded on the last boss. That boss has more to keep track of than most Heroic raid bosses.

she isn’t close to the hardest boss right now.
Stitchflesh in NW and last boss City of Threads are in a league of their own in difficulty

I don’t feel she’s hard, but I’m a death knight who can ignore the pool mechanic. Just need to spread, which does make her very melee unfriendly.

Last boss city of threads takes the cake right now for hardest boss in the game. The HPS/DPS/MOVEMENT mechanics required are WILDIN!.

weird, i have no issues with either of those two. I think people who never did SL are struggling with stitchflesh, but if he’s tyrannical the trick is to just spear the poop out of them whe he comes down. I dont even bother using the spears on the other bosses.
As far as last boss in City? Usually its the tank who doens’t move far enough way from the group when targetted with SotF. He needs to get the heck out of dodge and pop a tank CD. I leanred this in zero after killing my healer more than once with it LOL
props to DK’s who can do that lol. I can apparently avoid it too with a very well timed heroic leap but it’s too clutch for me to rely on it and i’m too freakin old
She’s mechanically the most complex, which is what most people struggle with. There are a whole bunch of way to make a mistake and kill yourself on that boss. From a raw numbers perspective at high scaling and at certain damage spike overlaps then yes I’d agree there are harder bosses

Nah the damage output has changed somehow, it’s absurdly high compared to other seasons. I think it has something to do with the ramping damage of the adds. It seems like you’re kinda forced into killing them or else the damage ramps too high, whereas you used to avoid killing them so you could cheese the hook mechanic.

Players can not share a pool, is that correct?
Last boss in AK you cannot share pools. This boss is super melee unfriendly. Maybe worst in the game.

Can’t wait for next season with Darkflame Cleft. I’m sure the last boss there isn’t gonna generate a massive amount of rage and brick keys left and right. /s

Dark flame cleft will be a dead key people avoid. Once they get the score from it never again. I also think cinderbrew Meadery will be wildly overtuned. It’s the only dungeon I run just on normals leveling where healers ragequit. Almost every pack is massive amounts of AoE damage
Last boss in SV says otherwise lol
Both of these bosses were horribly designed, but imo AK is worse. I’m not really sure what’s going on with the designers and putting circles of denial all over the dungeons for melee and bosses like these where you’re always away from the boss. Running out every once in a while is fine but not every 5 seconds.
Or COT 2nd and last boss.
But in SV bringing more than one melee to speaker ehrlich in a high key is straight up trolling, there will be no space on the floor to safely DPS from.
The more I play these dungeons the more obvious it is that Blizzard has not playtested their own dungeons at mid to high keys with a variety of spec and role comps.

not sure what level keys you are doing but stitchflesh’s margins are razor tight on 11 compared to any other boss. many others are wars of attrition and if you play the mechanics right but your dps is low you can kill it after 5-6 minutes. stitchflesh requires perfect mechanics and strong dps.
i got title in shadowlands so i’m aware of the history and he wasn’t this tough in shadowlands nor were the weapons as weak as they are now. Spears use to CHUNK bosses and apply the debuff, now they just tickle and debuff. Orbs used to CHUNK mobs and aoe silence, now they tickle and silence. the only positive change is the shields can be cast while casting and aren’t a channel, so theyre actually usable and my group uses 3 of them during the highest ramp part of stitchflesh.
2nd and 4th boss were way harder in SL compared to stitchflesh
The last boss requires people to think about their positioning in respect to others (the dispel that has 2 orbs launch from you) and having to leave a snare. Not sure how that is super hard? A lot of classes also have a get out of snare for free card, like druid, monk, paladin…
I think the last boss in GB and the Machinists boss in SV are easier to wipe on than the last boss in Arak.
