XT-002 Deconstructor Tuning Coming Later Today -- January 31

They need to approve telling us that they did the thing they said they were doing? I feel like you don’t fully grasp the situation.

I quite grasp the situation. Obv to a much higher level than you do. As you can’t even understand how much delays happen when different departments do stuff. Another department telling you do x dosent mean you do it instantly. In fact it often means let’s leave that till last.

You clearly don’t. I didn’t say they had to give us an exact time of doing something. I’m saying they should be telling us that they did the thing they said they were doing when it’s done. Not four hours later.

Point remains you are only proving the exact reason blizzard dosent say much. When they do give info and in a timely manner exactly when they said we would get it you complain still.

4 hours later falls exactly within the timeline they gave. Them telling us what they did 4 hours later is quite fine. It’s vastly better than stealth changes. While it’s vastly better than them waiting to do the change till the notes are approved that would be the other option.

You are complaining about them doing well and communicating.

It’s not a timely manner, though. You can’t seem to understand that four hours later when there’s zero reason for it to not be announced as out immediately upon applying the hotfix is anything but timely. The fix being applied is doing well. Their communication isn’t.

Imagine a law is changed making it illegal for you to drive your car after 8 PM and the announcement that the law is enacted isn’t until midnight. Is that really a timely manner? There’s zero reason to delay telling us they enacted the change when it was enacted.

There vary much is a reaosn for ti to be there fact you can’t understand that shows you have no place to complain as obv you don’t understand how multi department organizations work.

They gave us notice in advance in was comming got the change out and gave us the exact info that was not important to be out right away as we already knew the info we needed (that he was readjusted) at a later time exactly when they said.

That is the vary definition of timely.

They didn’t just undo the overtuning. They made it far weaker than at any point in Wrath. According to Reddit anyway.

Inefficiently and bad for the consumers? Is that really an excuse? “Oh this is just how it happens” doesn’t mean it should happen that way. That’s insane. There is literally zero reason for them to have waited four hours after making the change to tell people that they made the change. It shouldn’t have been on players to discover it was enacted.

That would be removing the overtuning yes. While yes they moved the dial more in the other direction that is removing the overtuning. As the overtuning was on both diffs when they org put it there they adjusted both back.

You claiming there is 0 reason dosent make it so and fact is it’s not. Anyone that has done any work with any multi department org knows that is outright false. There are many reasons that info gets delayed or comes after a change. Fact is the info came within the timeline they gave which is not something to complain about.

Not true at all.

Never once said since that was how it is is how it should stay.

Said that is how is is and still is.

Massive diff.

The practice is still there as there is nothing at all wrong with the pratice.

There is no need for you to instantly get the exact details of what has changed esp when they have made clear when that info is comming. They gave the key info a tuning change is happening info comming later and they did give the info later. Pushing the patch with the server maint to not screw any group of players and not need a server reset. Much better than delaying the change.

Contradicts

Nah, removing the overtuning would mean making it like it was in Wrath. This is just a nerf.

But whatever.

Not at all do learn to read.

The key point there is the word was.

As the pratice currently is the pratice was dose not apply.

Your example is a case of was. The pratice has been changed unlike this pratice that has never been. It has not been changed as nothing is wrong with that pratice unlike your exmaple.

Not rocket science. But do keep showing your lack of basic understanding of the workplace.

No that would be making like it was in wrath.

Every single fight was retuned. Removing the overtuning only means you are going to end up with a diff equal or less than what ever state was in wrath. Exactly what happened.

Alternatively: Shut your nitpicky mouth.

I know you want to have a battle of semantics, so have at it. They said they used they unnerfed version from original Wrath for these hard modes. Were they not accurate about that? Reading the health numbers seems like they overtuned beyond what existed in the first unnerfed version in Wrath.

With this adjustment they could have just used the first version from 2009. That would have been removing the overtune. But apparently they nerfed it far beyond that. Which is just a nerf from even the nerfed version.

That’s all. I’m done now.

An adjustment like this should be brought up and discussed before being applied, especially when the notice of a hotfix is the day of reset and applying it.

When it was originally announced, the nerf seemingly was only to target HM XT. What we ended up getting, was a nerf to the fight in normal and HM versions which I do not believe was conveyed properly or perhaps applied incorrectly.

Release of Ulduar Wotlk Classic: Patch 3.4.1 (2023-01-19)

• Base HP: 25M
• HM HP: 47.5M
• Heart HP: 10M

Past Patch (not sure if final) l Today’s Patch

Patch 3.1.3 (2009-06-11) l Patch 3.4.1 (2023-01-31)

• Base HP: 22.5M l • Base HP: 18M
• Heart HP: 7.2M l • Heart HP: 5.4M
• HM HP: 36M l • HM HP: 25M

Just by the numbers, it seems like it was absolutely overdone. Especially because it touched the normal mode encounter.

People that claim 25% Remaining HP can be covered with a week or two of gear have no idea what they´re on about.
