You wouldnt be q’ing into this man warlord/marshal groups if it wasnt for crossrealm. All these high pop servers with massive amounts of warlords q’ing scewing everyone else because the Devs wanna play horde and not deal with long waits. super lame.
I do agree… cross realm does kinda mess things up in terms of the old honour system. It was a great chance for the way TBC PvP worked, but it just doesn’t jive with the way vanilla works
Agreed brother.
Cross realm causes way more issues than it solves. My queue times are legit 2 hours for AV so clearly, cross realm doesnt even provide faster queue times
The game was SO much damn better before crossrealms…
I love cross realm battlegrounds. Instant-ish queues are the best.
Well you are on Alliance so your queue times were be pretty good regardless. My queue times are atrocious despite Cross realms.
So cross realms doesnt even do the thing it’s supposed to do.
HOWEVER, we also have the fallout from Cross realms too! Ie. worse faction balance, fubar’d brackets, and less server community.
So removing Cross realm has nothing but positives
Agreed. Vanilla was one or two HWL groups, not every damn match.
I don’t understand why they took the real Vanilla experience away from us - isn’t that what they promised? Same server rivalries were legendary - that’s gone.
aaah yes. those ‘same server rivalries’ aka win trading (cause it’s more HpH) or just giving up when one team proved they were better than the other… all in the effort of resuming their 18-hour per day WSG pubstomping.
atleast with Xrealm when premade face eachother you don’t automatically know the winner since odds are you haven’t faced them before.
Nope. PvE server. Way more Allance than Horde.
Oh then there exists server transfers to fix that
wut
Why would I want to roll on a PvP server?
You can’t transfer from a PvE to PvP server.
The issue with removing crossrealm BG in classic, is that it would ruin the already ballanced realm entirely. All the horde on horde dominant realms would flood ballanced, or alliance dominated realms, turning all pvp realms into horde realms, while leaving a trail of dead realms in its wake. You think Crossrealm only benefits horde, but really it is for everyone’s sake.
Really dumb comment tbh… if CRBGs were removed your queue time would be even longer, unless you’re on one of the few realms where there are more Ally PvPing than Horde (I think there’s only one or two). Your queue times are benefiting from having all of the other realms included in the battlegroup.
I doubt that. My queue times are similar to queue times I had when I was in Vanilla. Not only that, Horde in general, are more abundant across all servers. So even if it was removed, my queue times wouldnt go up dramatically as I’d also be eliminating the other Horde I’d have to queue with.
It also makes ranking easier since I wouldnt have to be in queue 24/7
So because people want to stack for the easier PVP side we on the alliance have to pay the price and get stomped all day? I dont see how us getting stomped every game is better than you having to wait
Sorry what? Im agreeing with you. Cross realms suck and provide no purpose. I was illustrating how ineffective Cross realms are as Horde queue times are still long, and Alliance queue times are still short even if server-only BGs were implemented.
Yeah, dude, you are a fool.
How could you possibly fail to understand that queue times are subjective to the population of both factions. It’s not a static percentage you goose.
Since I’m on a close to even server xrealm is supposed to help me by putting me in line with the the lopsided horde servers. When in fact my queue times would drop if it was server specific.
Because accepting defeat without being open to adapt, won’t get you anywhere.
