I don’t know. Their new “unified data structure” 8.1 brought to the mix (PTR is now only a small download instead of a separate 50 gig install), and their talk about Classic having the updated modern graphics available makes me think a lot of is the current code with a lot of it rewritten to mimic the old.

IIRC it’s being built off the retail codebase, so they have been recreating Classic rather than just using whatever the pservers use.

I’m not accusing twinks of preventing experience gain. I’m accusing twinks of preying on players whose goals are not to be the best possible level 19 that they can be, level 29, level 39, etc. Progression for levelers means acquisition of experience. Twinks are complete with respect to character progression. Level 120’s don’t play with pre-120’s within instances for a reason.

The two should not share a space while gear matters as much as it currently does. Their goals are competing.

You sink more into characters than them? No, levelers get to 120 and play all the different aspects of the game, much more time than you do. You stop progression, and then just play bgs how is that sinking more time?

Seems the amount of reasonable twinks/twink supporters are in the minority.

It’s not actually anti twink, I don’t mind twinks that stick to their own community. It’s about making bgs great again, and for the most part they are.

If you think just supporting separation makes you an “anti twink”, then I cannot convince you otherwise. Judging from interactions with you prior, I couldn’t convince you that water was wet if you thought otherwise.

But hey, what do I know? I’m just Grey’s alt after all.

There was no instant join. I remember waiting for AB and WSG, and that was WOW at it’s peak population.

It was to attract pve players to try pvp, and find another aspect of WOW they may enjoy. I enjoy leveling through bg’s best fun in the game imo.

Nah. The bg’s have been much more balanced since separation. Sorry to burst that bubble.

Because lots of people like to BG as part of the leveling experience. A LOT more people than there are twinks, orders of magnitude more.
