That is some scary backwards garbage there. You would figure they would check out the info given to them from the offender here first instead of running straight to your house too.

Right. I had CSI in my mind when I made my first call. Just some guy slapping keys “Ok, enhance. I pulled it right up.”

But nope, my mental image quickly shifted to someone gnawing on a doughnut as he stared at a 1980’s green monitor. The takeaway I got from all of this is that it’s insanely easy to get away with crimes. Knock yourself out.

What actually worries me is when the Mindhunter show came out, I was interested enough in that I read the books it was based on.

In the 90’s he wrote that it was increasingly important we have certain protections when someone starts showing certain signs in regards to mental health and stalking behavior.

It’s 2019, and there wasn’t anything to help us. Have enough info to guarantee you have the next Dahmer? Oh, well better get a photo of him gnawing on a severed hand, that’s what you’ll need.

Eh I have nothing against ERP, but it’d have to be someone I was “with” in the game, and was interested in meeting real life.
