I see that you’d like to see if it’s possible to de-level your character you wanted to stay at 110, I’ll gladly look into this situation for you today.

I honestly haven’t had a request like this in a number of years, I had to review and reread the policy on this a few times.

Seeing as there hadn’t been any profession rank ups and that no other quests that couldn’t be done at the appropriate level I was able to roll you back the level and lock it for you so that this doesn’t happen again unless you wanted XP gains.

I started to track this guy since you all are telling this poster he doesnt know what hes talking about. This lv 49 person does not arena or do rated bg’s (look) but somehow his honorable kills do this…

Start checking yourself if you are still skeptical. This is not the only one either, hes just the example. We’ve been driven to extremes by posters that have no idea what they are talking about.

Its very interesting because most GMs hardly know whats going on in the game, and simply act based on prior precedent.

If they were aware of this exploit going on and chose to change their procedure for a request like this, then I would bet on a banwave going on soon.

Evawyn, the ones in here being obviously obtuse know what’s going on, they simply do not care.

They also do not care whose enjoyment of the game is lessened by theirs/others actions so long as it does not impact theirs.

I have a rule I go by: someone who feels the need to constantly be talking typically has nothing to say

Understandably. I’ve seen so many people complain about GMs banning them for something they didn’t do, only to have A GM come in and put the smack down on the various reasons why they totally deserved their ban.

I admire your tenacity but to be honest i’m a bit too busy to watch myself. I can’t track the guys BG progress. I’m a player not a GM.
I only have what is posted right now. I’m not sure how you watched him overtime without knowing of him unless he was previously posted also.

If he is cheating a report will have him dealt with. As it should be if he is.
If he is not cheating he wont be.

My following posts already said that. My further posts are why the witchhunt is bad taste. Not about said posted squidlygoat but in general.
There are ways to get around the current fotm MM hunter. Twink or not team play is required in BGs.

I don’t like cheaters. They should get the boot they deserve.
That boot can only be made by GMs because they have the physical evidence needed to make that decision. You do not.

To add to this, I’ve seen both sides of the spectrum. I’ve seen people complain about being banned and the GM posts (not sure if legit… are they not supposed to do that?) that the person did deserve and what for. And I’ve seen people post proof that they were innocent. It’s hard now-a-days since the quality of GMs has bottomed out.

I’ve been thinking on this.

I would say that if you are in a party/group with someone doing this then yes you should suffer the same consequence.

I completely agree with you and was driven here when it seemed like no steps were being taken to make this final step in keeping xpoff twinks out of xp on bgs.

My philosophy being the old proverb that says “The squeaky wheel gets the grease”. This post has been alive and well for quite a few days, as frustrating as its been, hopefully weve squeaked loud enough for someone in power to notice (besides all the other channels weve previously used).

I believe Blizzard knows exactly what is going on and the punishments will be handed down in the near future.

If we’re short a few posters in here when that happens I believe we’ll all know why.

Super agreeing to that. There is a reason for all the twink posts about other ways than just removing XPoff. (still!)

The quality of service for stuff like this has really been poor as of late. I’ve seen rude blue posts and things get passed over quickly. Even game breaking things that they don;t fix.
Zero communication across the board until way after it has been implemented. Even then no real communication.
Having to go to twitter are you kidding me?

They seem to put more care in classic and being transparent there than the actual retail game.

That was still a shady thing to do, I will maintain that. That’s not a teeny tiny thing that you can just “oops” and forget to put in patch notes.

People getting mad over others having better gear which they can get with no boundaries whatsoever.

Actually being able to get into a BG in the first place. Forced to join, then leave early in order to not level in an xp on BG and it sucks. 6 min Qs for XPon, or 4+ hour Qs for xp off?

It is fun doing wargames with other twinks. those only happen at night when everyone is on though. it is enjoyable to get with levelers and one shot people every once in a while.

can’t wait for classic. This game has gone too far from the mindset of “I need to get gear” to “I dont have the gear they have so they dont deserve it”
