The fracturing of the playerbases between SoM, classic era, BC, migration frenzies, and some that just quit over some unpopular BC changes. HvH BGs were one such change.

Yeah so general population decline, that’s what I would have guessed. I wasn’t sure why that poster brought it up if it there wasn’t a twink related reason.
His point was twinks helped keep it active, and that population alone during classic would not have, which I’m inclined to agree with.

This is such a great change. I like playing the higher level brackets (39-69), and the original queue split made queues never pop for those brackets.

Yeah, of course, twinks are part of the population and if the population is higher more queues will pop.
But twinks are still part of the population, and queues now aren’t popping apparently. So that causal relationship doesn’t seem to be very strong.

They do but just on weekends during BG weekend holidays. And usually only WSG. I haven’t managed to find any AB so far but could just be my bad luck.

Back in the day is irrelevant because twinks weren’t needed to make low-level bgs pop back then. They are now.

Couldn’t possible be the fact that people queued into twinks at some point in TBC and just never went back because they didn’t want to get 1 shot and gy farmed.
With xp turned on a lot more people will be queueing for bgs and they won’t be loser twinks.

If twinks can’t even get a game to pop on their own why cater to a community that is responsible for making bgs miserable for people leveling?
It’s obvious blizzard at least thinks with xp turned on that bgs will start popping more frequently. They’ve just made a horrible change that no one asked for. The only people who benefit from a terrible change like this are loser twinks who suck so bad at end game that they have to outgear you by 15 levels in a bracket people are just passing through.

All the clowns crying, either get geared before you q or don’t PvP. Simple as that lmao, tf you think is going to happen to a fresh 70 qing into a full S4 geared toon? No different in low end pvp. It’s PvP, designed for geared players, not casuals wanting to level. buy some gear off the AH, slap some enchants on and call it a day.

The difference is the level 70 can gear up and play the game as it was intended. Same with a level 80.
A 69/59/x twink gears and enchants far past what any reasonable player would get through leveling and crafting playing the game normally. They do this because they’re bad at the game and it’s the only way they can have any satisfaction. It’s the same mindset as ganking low levels in stv at max level.

Well get used to that feeling. If they are going to introduce xp from pvp and then dump the xp players in the same bracket as twinks, there will also be no low level pops in wotlk.

Cool, so nothing at all changes between TBCC and LKClassic. And since you’re not on-the-record about your dissatisfaction that there are LITERALLY NO LOW-LEVEL GAMES in TBCC, we can safely conclude that, if there are LITERALLY NO LOW-LEVEL GAMES in LKCLASSIC, then not splitting the queues between XPon and XPoff had zero effect on anything and you won’t be dissatisfied about that either.

The alternative is to give a chance for a positive effect to happen.
*Twinks get shoved in their own degenerate queues they continue to set up games like they were apparently joyfully doing anyways so nothing changes for them.
*Non twinks will enjoy xp gains from playing bgs w/o having some braindead ape 1 shot them with zero chance to even play the game. Bg’s will probably pop more often since there won’t be twinks to ruin the game anymore.
