When you get 1 shot by ambush or 2 shot by hemo, crit for 80% of your health by a mortal strike or aimshot, you’re just supposed to “git gud”.
Twinks actually think what they’re doing is skill related and it’s comical.
Ive only used one character to post on since the forums came out in classic.

Usually when you’re losing an argument or can’t come up with anything substantial to say you resort to calling people the same person just because in your mind you can’t believe more people disagree with you.

I will discuss this in the context of my recent experience in the 39 bracket (I have good gear but inferior to twinks). We organized games through discord to get games going at least some days of the week. I’d say twinks generally make up about 85% of the players. Twinks on both sides, players flowing to each side to help games be balanced and thus good (they’re not chasing KBs… except those stinky warlocks!).
I expect that the twink ratio to decline as more levellers take advantage of xp. Some levellers will be smart about it and get BoAs. I posted a guide on how to acquire gear for free or cheaply, so levelling players should not be at a huge disadvantage via gearing… if they are knowledgable.
To your example, I agree that a skilled player will have a hard time defeating a twink 1 v 1 but it’s a team game… you should try not to put yourself in that situation. Group up!
If you are caught solo versus a twink, rely on your CC. Take the twink out of the play.
If you’re a druid and see a rogue, faerie fire him and then root him, What’s he going to do? Twink warlock causing problems? If you’re a mage, dispel the curses he has on your teammates and you, counterspell his fear and/or sheep him. See, I am not killing the twink but I am minimizing his impact or taking him out of the play.
If you’re decent at PvP and have good awareness, you’ll do just fine. Follow my gear guide and go have fun.

Since you have obviously put a great deal of thought into your comment, if there are no low-level WSG or Arathi games right now, right this very moment during prime hours on a Saturday night, then if there are no low-level games in WOTLKC, how exactly did anything backfire?

I don’t remember for sure, but you can still go to the BMs anytime you want. Thats what I meant.
The “as you are” part meant that you can queue as any spec you are in, with no ilevel requirements. That to me signifies freedom.
There’s usually a burst of activity on expansion launches, and a lot of people are hyped for WLKC. It’s not a fair comparison to look at activity at the end of TBCC when people have already cleared everything. A lot of people are taking a break until WLKC.
What does that have to do with anything I said? Take your RDF argument to the appropriate thread. There are plenty of them.

Blizzard likely doesn’t remember because anything they didn’t do this cycle must be purged from their memories.
When twinks were in the normal brackets the whole pvp experience while leveling was awful and no one even thought about it until they were in the 8th or 9th level of the bracket - and even then it could play out as an HK farming experiment while being graveyard camped.
Twinks make pvp an unequal playing field and this change caters to that group only.
I think this will backfire because twinks will make any low level bracket a wretched experience and thus turn away any players that want to go have a scrap while leveling. I won’t be joining the fray, and while I’m only one person, I’m sure there are others that will pass as well.
So the notion of allowing these overly specialized individuals into a general queue will likely backfire. The blizzard monkey paw will strike again and we will all wait for a future patch to fix it or continue to argue into the nether about Blizzard’s hubris.

This is utterly preposterous. Look, the most joy I have ever had in WoW has been leveling through BG’s. There has always been a ton of xp on players in the queues at all hours of the day. Games were never hard to find. There was ZERO shortage of players at any bracket at any time.
The only people who ever had trouble finding games were the twinks. If you include both groups in the same queue, it’s going to be twink only queues because no one else is going to participate.

If you played low-level BGs, which you dont, you’d know that, during Classic, all brackets were active during prime time hours. This includes the game-ruining twinks. Yet, despite the twinks, the brackets were active.
Now with TBCC, all low-level brackets are dead. Even at prime time hours. If you actually played low-level brackets, you would know this. You don’t play low-level brackets, so you don’t know this. I, however, do play low-level brackets. That is, before TBCC, since the brackets are all dead in TBCC. I know this because I play low-level brackets. That is, I would, if the brackets were active. You dont know this because you dont participate, yet you have an opinion on something you dont even do.

Prime time hours? Hell, they were active all times of the day. Unfortunately I’m not sure how this was possible considering all of these very educated people saying that twinks ruined bg’s. Yet they would always pop all day, every day for oh I don’t know 6 years or so.
Wait what actually changed to cause this? Honest question, I haven’t given a **** about low level BGs since classic started.
