Y’all are too easy to trigger
Thank you blizzard!!! This was my favorite thing about wotlk, im so happy it’s coming back in classic!!!
Terrible and stupid decision, blizz.

If there wasn’t enough participation among levelers in random bgs for experience, then it’s because bgs aren’t worth the time it takes to do them, while leveling. You don’t improve participation metrics among this group of players by getting these players relentlessly stomped over and over by twink trash, you improve participation metrics by improving rewards until people think it’s worth their time.

Twinks are all degenerate gutter league players that can’t support their own community because their entire community exists as a parasite, feeding off non twink players they need to boost their own ego. They don’t deserve any hand outs, and shouldn’t be encouraged in the game.
With that fancy PvP gear I see you have on, I sincerely hope you have NEVER attacked someone with no or little honor gear on while you played in BG’s. I know you haven’t though, I trust you only chose equally geared/skilled players to fight against because you don’t have a boosted ego.
My season 2 gear, that is two seasons old already? That I EARNED while still wearing full naxx 40 gear against people in s4 gear instead of just buying my gear off the AH like you degenerate Twinks?
Get out of here, with your garbage takes.
So you’re pro RDF too then right?
you’re* =]
So explain to me if this is a WSG problem, do twinks not compound the issue instead of making it better. Your delusional if you think putting people who have min maxed there character with people maybe in a couple greens is fair. I don’t know about you but i don’t enjoy being 1 shot because someone bought gold with mommy’s credit card and laced there character with blues and purples
Made me laugh out loud there with the ignorance. Earned? Please. You could have just afk’d AV to “earn” that gear for all we know. It is easier to farm an entire set of max-level PvP gear then it is to farm (gasp the thought that twinks actually work for their gear) specific pieces needed.
The fact that you were finally obtaining S2 gear during S4 clearly states you are not a competitive PvP’er. Try to speak on topics that you actually have knowledge in, such as that full Naxx set you were carried to obtain.
“Competitive PvPer”
*cowers in the twink brackets
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh, you where serious?
All this will do is encourage the twinks to pwn the noob. I bet gaining xp via pvp will stop because of that experience for the noobs.
Twinks are back with the normies and we still aren’t getting LFD? Yeeesh.
Cool name. Very fitting to your class.
It’s a small price to pay for having more readily available queues and having the freedom to queue up as you are, anytime you want.
I don’t want to see scaling or role selection added just because of a few noobs’ bad experiences, which I do sympathize with.
I understand that, but with heirlooms and PvPers like me returning to the low brackets, it won’t be that bad an experience.
After losing LFD, random BGs are our last bastion of queueable freedom we have, at least for me it is; and that means accepting the twinks along with the novices.
I can’t play at all if you don’t add LFD.
There won’t be anyone do DUNGEONS WITH PRE-LK.
Hi! Not everyone has a max character or are racing to the finish. Add LFD!
He posted less than a week ago on that topic. What else is there to say on that lol?
Reposting since some of you are upset about a gear disparity that really shouldn’t exist if you take advantage of all the easy PvP gear available to you as you level.
You’re not owed any explanation.
You’re either not intelligent enough to grasp the NOT VERY SUBTLE nuance -OR- you’re arguing in bad faith and thus are not open to any form of persuasion anyway.
plus, you post exactly the same way that the Level 70 Dwarf Priest does, so I am quite certain that you’re both the same person.
And alas we are at the end of the discussion it seems. It is quite surprising to see so many people so small minded to believe that playing a twink and max level PvP is an either/or situation.
You either have skill or you don’t, and gear can only get you so far. If you cannot win a battle against someone with an edge in gear then you clearly lack the skill to be competitive at any level. But then again I guess whining, complaining, having a defeatist attitude, and blaming people who are willing to work harder for something than you are is definitely a constructive option.
I don’t think your position holds water. There is a real critical mass of balance between skill ratings (heavily influenced by gear) and player skill. If a 19 twink’s gear pushes his sklll ratings to a point 10 or 15 levels higher than his actual level, he effectively becomes a level 29-34. Well, a skill-rating disparity of 10-15 levels is substantial enough that you may not be able to damage him, hit him, resist his attacks, etc., no matter how much skill you have.
But let’s say you can hit him, can damage him, etc., but that your effectiveness is diminished 60-80%. You technically have a chance at that point, and therefore your player skill can become operative in the equation. The chances will also be impacted by the combination of classes involved (hunter vs rogue… frost mage vs druid, etc). Except we’re talking about BG engagements, not open world 1v1. So you not only have to overpower a lopsided engagement with largely just your skill, you have to do so while the twink is getting support. Heals, additional DPS from teammates, etc. Sure, you’ll likely get some support as well, but unless you have a counterbalancing twink or two on your side, every member of your team will suffer the same 60-80% loss of effectiveness against the twink.
The entire point of twinking is to place oneself at such a height of advantage as to render ineffective all inbound opposing action, including player skill.
I am all for twinking being part of the game. In my mind it is simply a matter of players maximizing what the game offers to their liking and play style. Nothing wrong with that. But it is nonsense that player skill can offset the gear deficiencies of twinking once the twink hits critical mass. At least, not in a BG.
Same goes with measuring the twink’s player skill. If your skill ratings make you practically untouchable, you don’t need skills. Skill is needed when your ambush doesn’t one-shot your opponent, not when it does. Is that twinked-out warrior really skilled, or is he just effectively 10-15 levels higher than everyone else and the combat calculations reflect that? No one answer will apply to every engagement, but let’s not claim that we’re skilled when our gear makes it so we don’t have to be.
But if a twink can maintain a measurable superiority in a BG without twink gear, who can say that he’s not skilled? I’d say, “No one.”
