The same way the higher drop rate of the headless horseman mount reduces the pressure to farm it on an army of alts. If you happen to have an army of alts, you’ll get it within a few days. If you don’t have an army of alts, no big deal, as you’re still likely to get it within a few years even if you only play one character. If someone feels pressured to get it within the first year, that’s a different source of the pressure which has nothing to do with drop rate or number of alts.
I seem to remember seeing somewhere that Stratholme is one single large instance now.

I don’t care. I agree with Abolita, an increased chance on the first fight of the day/week/month whatever would make all players trying for those mounts feel a little more hopeful. What harm is there in having that?

Stratholme may be infinitely farmable, and I may have been lucky enough to get it, but it is absolutely rare. Look at all the lists and videos on rarest obtainable mounts, some even give what percentage of the players have it. The Stratholme one is routinely on those lists.It’s extremely rare, and aside from a few random people that get lucky in a leveling dungeon, this is mostly owned by people that hardcore farm instance mounts. Your average player does not have it, whether they’ve never run it or hundreds of times. Lots of the instance mounts are the same way, which gives them their rarity.I would recommend tho that the instance ones keep their drop rates. They usually hover around 1%, and there’s only so may left I don’t have. Getting them all super fast would not be satisfying.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask for uniformity in regards to dungeon mount drops. Why have some be almost impossible to get, and others have a higher drop chance?
They should all have the same rules as far as how they drop.

because other mounts already have a higher chance of dropping. the love rocket has the lowest rate in game followed by sha i think, well sha is buffed now
Something being scarce for the sake of false scarcity is never good. That puts a fake value on it that has no need to exist. Everyone should get this mount once in their lifetime, within a realistic time frame. Not when were 50 years old.
