That’s crazy. It’s fast on classes you can run as tank or healer but as a dps the queue times really fluctuate. Think I sat in queue for over 20 minutes a few times, most seem to have been around 10 minutes. I think I ran it through on ~40 characters the rest were only level 50. Must have taken me over 10 hours.
Going from a .1% to a .2% is most definitely negligible lol. Sure your odds have been doubled but the number is still far too low to have a meaningful impact. In this case you can only run this dungeon once a day for the increased chance. Doubling the chance practically does nothing.
Imagine if your crit chance was .1%, you’d almost never see crits. Now double that. You’re still practically in the same predicament.

Side note finally got the mount off the sha of anger so woohoo I know that drop rate was increased but still took awhile!

I get it on the first try and everyone else is still stuck in the maze. It’s only fair.

If the mount is maintaining its “daily” method for chance, then a good 3-5% chance to drop would be extremely fair since it can only be run for two weeks.
If blizzard changes it to be farmable on one character IE unlimited runs during the two week period, then a 0.1% > x > 1% would be acceptable.
As it is right now through current numbers, the overall chance to get this mount appears to be 0.03 when factoring in the time gating I believe. That is extremely rare and frustrating for those without the mount. I somehow got it on my first run ever so I never experienced the frustration.
Yea I’m hitting instance cap doing it on alts still.
The change wasn’t helpful at all because if I still don’t get the mount, I’m still doing it on all my alts, even if the chance is non-specifically much lower.
I’ve failed to get the mount for over a decade. Slightly buffing the drop rate on my first run a day (and not even saying by how much) isn’t really helping save anybody any time.
Its no fun playing for years with little chance at all in only a week or 2 per year.
I got it yesterday first try…I was quite surprised lol.

About the same as the Headless Horseman’s mount. Doable with alts.
So if you don’t get lucky with the new lucky rate how precisely does this in any way change the march of the alts?
Nothing in first box? Next alt…same as the last many years. 10k currency buy would have been a fine solution. This is super meh.
Not feeling this “increased” drop chance. Not for a once a day thing. If this was something you could do repeat boss runs for, it would be fine.
I have a better chance at rolling something from a mobile gacha game for that reason and that rate is around the same as this.

Of course you’ll only feel it when the mount drops. Greatly increased could mean going from 0.03 to 0.10 and that would count as a significant upgrade for the first box of the day. Fact is, that is still abysmally low although the rate was increased by over 300%. Of course I’m throwing random numbers out but you get the point.
Having played some mobile gacha games, you really don’t have a better chance. I played one called Summoners War and spent a few grand over the years, with many friends I met having done the same thing. Odds were downright horrible. Yet we had ONE friend who not only beat the odds, but he smashed them. RNG is just RNG.
