I spent the last 10(give or take) hours running through the dungeon on a lot of alts. I didn’t see the mount which is to be expected and yes I had nothing better to do because DF.
I’ll at least do it once a day from now on to see if I get the mount but I seriously doubt it.
I resurrected all alts I haven’t played since last Love event (painstakingly did all new interface, talent trees what not just so I can run the dungeons with the hopes of getting the mount) I have the 500 mount cheeve already so I’m not here for a whim. I’m a serious collector. Still no mount!
And what’s the releation between your set up and my comment? Well, maybe that you’ll get that too many instances too.

Just put it on the vendors and have the holiday currency stick around from year to year, like the lunar festival coins.
That way everybody can have it eventually if they put in the effort, even if they want to put in that effort over several years.

Blizz, if you were trying to gain some goodwill, you just twisted the knife in players’ backs. Then again, there is a common theme of designing in ways that show contempt for the player base, and this definitely shines as yet another example.
ehh i gave up on it 2 years ago not worth the frustration at all . This year i will just do it on main per day and thats it . If i get it fine if i dont thats fine also as farming for this mount has made me lose all interest in this mount ,its gonna be nothing more than +1 for me . Because of all the frustration it has caused for me .
When i was farming it i didnt saw it drop on any player so what i was doing x5 and still no mount was the reason i thought screw it .
Not with the existing drop rate. Everyone I’ve ever met that owned it, got it the first year (2010).

3-5% would still be kinda crap after so many years. Five percent over 14 days is a 70% chance.
In case you are unable to math adding a .1% on for doing it on many toons is a negligible increase in chance.

Having done 53 attempts today, Will see if the odds increase later. I’m not sure that I want to run the second account for a minimal return or try my hand at the other bnet. There’s a diminishing return, despite my having 500 mounts + (not sure how many anymore) where micromanaging and leveling all the alts to 60 or even 1 per bnet loses the appeal. Was up until at least 1 am leveling alts last night, it ugh gets tiring. Every 2 years have to level the army up to retry the grind again. I hope that first roll of the day is lucky for the other 14 days, would be nice. Not sure that I want to throw any more subs at the farm this time, running 53 took decently long enough (mostly instance cap stopped me from going faster).
