I’m still trying to figure out what a sloot machine is. Does it dispense sloot?
I’ve tried that method and Blizzard changed the lockout system and it no longer works.
They shouldn’t even be doing the first. Some mounts are simply very rare. Getting it after they’ve made it so everyone will have it devalues the mount. May as well just put it in the store.
This game isn’t designed for everyone to have everything.

Yeah, while I get why they made a lot of the changes they did, this one definitely seems to have been a pointless one.
When the entire community is still calling it Big Love Rocket, it didn’t need to be changed lol. Hell, most don’t even know what the new name is.

How about guessing this: I’ve been farming for the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent for over a decade. I still don’t have it, and I still go every week. And I don’t want the drop rate increased. If I get it I want to be thrilled with my luck, and if I don’t ever get it, that’s ok too because I know it’s just that rare.
Considering the event came out in 2009 so thats 14 years… you think its ok to farm a mount for 14 years ?
Absolutely. 100%. No question. Without a doubt.
I like that some things are insanely improbable.
Edit: Come take a shot at Sha of Anger sometime. Every week, at all times of day you will find a crowd there of people taking their best shot for that mount. Week after week. None of them complain how rare it is… they come BECAUSE it’s that rare.

drop rate so high i just got one mailed to me before the event started.
Can we remove the Feat of Strength achievement that comes along with it? With this change we no longer have any mount in the game that is below a .1% drop rate that cannot be purchased off the auction house/BMAH. At this rate why don’t we bring back the Black Qiraji mount? It’s hard to believe that there can’t be mounts in the game that not everyone can have.
No, because that achievement is literally something no one looks at except maybe yourself.
They also only have to wait weekly not all year for two weeks to try… But ok…
27 toons every day for 14 days every year, that’s a lot of time friend. And if we’re talking obtainable mounts, there are not hundreds rarer. Not to mention 1.3 percent of accounts is still rare af. Also on time investment, they said trying to get them, not it, indicating the significant amount of time was spent farming ALL of his mounts. Really not sure what you’re even trying to argue here.

you’re right… i was reading the chart wrong.
there are 40ish which are rarer
and still doesn’t guarantee a drop after 15 years.
I do not believe you. No need to go into details, this is my opinion.
I am tracking my tries since 2014 and I ran the event before that, at this point I just want it to be over.
This would have been the perfect opportunity to extend the “bad luck protection” to this mount and therefore make the drop-rate progressivefor each character.
But instead the drop-rate is “greatly increased”, whatever that means and there is a good chance that this is buggy in either direction and hotfixed.
