I disagree. Then we are back to square one, where people will farm it with alts. When will it stop? It creates a very unhealthy state of mind.
Funny. I remember suggesting that one character should have an increased drop rate, and that was it. Alts should be left to just that, being an alternative to your main, not another mount farmer.

I have no idea how you got to this method of reasoning. These two have nothing in common, aside from being mounts.
Players still can use their endless alt army; a luxury that I would say the majority of the player does not have; The luxury of time.
Gladiator mounts can be bought via gold or even real money, if one doesn’t have the skillset and networking.
I still cannot see how players can find a negative in every single thing Blizzard does. They can remove server maintenance and people would still complain that they now have no “down-time”.
Not with a 1% drop rate you’re not. From memory I had to throw many many many alts at it and got it on my 150-200th attempt.
1 char a day for 14 days a year isn’t a few years… its a decade or so…

Yep …happened in 2021 after all those sexual lawsuits came out …its just plain stupid rename for sure…to me it will always be The Love Rocket…
I already checked some collectors discords and some players are already planning to do with alts, I’ve the same idea, because we don’t know about the actual increase and it’s frustating to attempt this every year, so we just want to finish this. I’ve to level up 10 more alts from 50+ to 60, since minimum level probably will change as always 
Alt armies for griding RNG rewards…that’s our approach against this bad reward design but there’s some players that just glorify wasting time with “rare”.
That would be awesome if they were everywhere! I am never upset when others get a mount or item they have been yearning for.
Please please PLEASE tell me you’re doing this for the HH mount too?! I have been trying on multiple toons every year since the event started and I am so tired of never getting it ;;_;;

Do we even know the actual drop rate of this mount? Wowhead doesn’t have it and I can’t seem to find a source that actually says what the rate is, just people speculating. I know multiple people with this mount but not the HH one, it can’t be THAT much rarer… and HH is only 0.4%
Nope and they won’t say it. Same way we don’t know the drop rate for pandaria and rukhmar wb mounts. And HH is def NOT 0.4%, I got it in like 40 tries. Def not that low…seems a good deal have it.
… you can get mounts with a 0.4% on the first try. Every single time you try you have a 0.4% chance of getting it. You just got lucky on that 40th run. Some people get it on their first, some people don’t get it after 13+ years of trying.
How about the Time Reaver? It’s not holiday limited window but it’s also not as available as those others.
HH is way higher then valentines mount.
An increase is definitely needed.
When you say “greatly increased,” how many daily runs with was that equivalent to?
So… 15 reasonable attempts a year? How is this a buff?
Assuming the increased chance will be 1% like the MoP world bosses, there’s still a good chance you might need 100 tries on it.

This also doesn’t solve the “unfun” part of smashing this with all your alts, because the likelihood of getting it in those 15 attempts is way too low, so we’re still going to have to grind for an impossible 0.03% drop chance…
You’ve had a year to think about a reasonable solution, and besides doing nothing at all, this is one of the worst outcomes you could’ve given.
WE WANT A FLAT DROP CHANCE INCREASE.
1% is fine but not on a daily kill. Make every kill 1%. Let us actually have a decent chance to get it this year, especially now most of us will have even less lvl 60 alts for it, since SL leveling was dreadful.
while you’re doing that, are you able to tell us the minimum level requirement to obtain the purple quality box?
I need to know if my alts are good at 68 or so… or if I need to try and push them to 70
