So I watched the new anime on Netflix “Pacific Rim: The Black”
First… that was a hell of a lot darker than I was expecting to see from Pacific Rim.
Second, F in chat for Australia.

am i sint or are you sint
yes
Trick question.
We’re all Sint.
Hi, I’m Sinto’wen.
That … would be horrifying.
One person’s mind suddenly takes over the bodies of every single person on earth. No hive-mind, just everyone is suddenly that person.
How quickly society would collapse, how dark the future would become if it didn’t matter even if the new generations are born, they’re mental copies of the same person too.
Kinda reminds me of that one Vault from Fallout 3 (I think) that was full of clones of one guy and it was implied that the original killed himself.
Over time the new experiences that each sint goes through would cause them to differentiate and become their own unique individuals, though!
Eventually even distinct cultures would form, likely based on the geographic region each group of sint lived.
Even if each new baby was born with the knowledge that sint had at the time of the event , this would simply become the new baseline of knowledge to grow from as they live their sint-illating lives
And now I’m reminded of a review I saw for a strategy game where one of the playable races was a just a massive army of clones of one disgustingly vain man.
hi you’re thinking of the Horatio from endless space 2 which is a good game that you should play.
People of the forums, My cat Gato has given me a very important message to pass.
It is ‘Mrah.’
Right? I was not expecting that anime to get as dark as it did. Nor was I expecting to see Australia get tore up a second time in one year. First the fire last year and now Kaiju in 2021. Poor country just can’t win.
Honestly, the character death that happened at the seasons midway point genuinely left me stunned.
“Oh yes, episode over, dangerzone escaped…” happens “… no… no…”
If that wasn’t the big flashing sign of how dark this show was willing to go I don’t know what was. My jaw dropped as that scene unfolded and I was left taken aback.
I want to write a WrA/Hazbin Hotel crossover.
How ironic. I was watching Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss tonight during my tattoo session. Though I have to ask now, whoo is going to be redeemed? Garrosh? Hakkar? Who are we sending to the hotel?!
…Anyone seen Ravenhul lately?
I do not think the hotel needs a dwarf speared to the table wearing only a lion cloth.
How about a dwarf in a speared loin cloth wanting to hire I.M.P.?
How about a steamy romance novel between the impaled dwarf in a loincloth and the impaled gnome in a loincloth.
We’ll call it…Loincomrades.
