Man, when did we start talking about game stuff again? Let’s go back to lounge stuff.
Yesterday, I got a London Fog from a local coffee shop (oat milk, Earl Grey, cinnamon) and chilled for a bit at the 200-year-old town graveyard. It’s an unexpectedly peaceful spot and it being a clear blue sky day, the sun made the Fall foliage insanely beautiful. I leaned against the biggest, oldest oak I could find and just watched people do their morning runs, visit family plots, or straighten the flags on veteran memorials.
I think next time, I’ll bring my watercolors and sketchbook and try to capture some of the scene — and no, not the cat butt coloring book. Not that I don’t think the dead would mind but I don’t want to be coloring in a cat butt next to someone’s beloved grandma when they come for a visit. (Unless of course grandma would think that was hilarious.)
Very much agree on returning to lounge activities in this thread and not turning it into another place to debate the factions.
That aside that sounds lovely. Graveyards are wonderful places to be sometimes. Can’t say I spend much time in them myself but I get how people find them relaxing or calming in some manner.
As far as halloween events are concerned spent time with family walking around main street collecting candy. Saw my aunt and her child, my sisters children, etc. Was nice. Had a trunk or treat at my sisters church after.
Did DND last night- had to prep it in the matter of 1 hour bc my buddy just dropped the ball and didn’t prep anything for the session. It was good tho bc I turned it into a horror themed session for the HALLOWEENS.
Played Cyberpunk Red on Saturday. It was a month long wait for much disappointment. Hopefully net month’s game will be better. But it’s gunna be a while to find out.

“Shadowlands was a pretty alright expansion, y’all just have expectations that are too high for where you personally think the story should go.”
Shadowlands felt like the personal fanfiction of a random writer’s afterlife system that was tacked onto WoW, imo.
I liked parts of it independent from WoW — wait wtf we’re talking about the game again
Took my latest neighborhood feral to the vet, turned out she was a girl. “Ollie” is now “Olivia” and currently high as a kite in my garage after spay surgery and vaccinations.
Verdict is still out whether she wants to accept cushy indoor cat life. (I don’t force genuine ferals to interact with humans; that’d be no different than forcing interaction with a wild raccoon.) She has a few more days with me while she recovers from spay so we’ll see if she decides to turn in her feral card.
Do you have to pay for the surgery? I’ve got at least one tom in the neighborhood who desperately needs his trouble puffs removed, but I have yet to look into whether there’s a TNR program out here. He likes to pick fights with other cats in my backyard, and then MY cats get upset.
I thought I’d be more enthused for the first Dragon Age game in ten years than I am. The reviews are glowing, but nothing I’ve seen so far has grabbed me. The combat, the dialogue, the animations, the models, not making use of the Keep… I’m just feeling very meh about it all.
I suppose it doesn’t help that for the same price I could get, like, 3-4 indie games.
