this isnt much of a revelation lol.
Titans and Azeroth itself has always been shown as robotic in nature.

Shadowlands annoyed me so much it actually made me quit the game, like ACTUALLY quit for three years after playing since 2005. I was able to put up with every other irritating thing we were all saddled with but SL, nnnnn, hehehehehe no no no. No.
I quit right after Saurfang died in BfA. The sheer laziness of repeating MoP’s plot points so close made me get real depressed with the state of the game. I came back during Shadowlands and that made it worse–though, I was oddly interested in the first half of it when it was about suffering and consequence and healing oneself. But after I met the covenants, I just stopped caring.
I came back for a bit of Dragonflight but I think the damage has been done. Post-scandal Blizzard is doing well with content but so little of it feels arresting or vigorous. It’s just more HR writing and a few gimmicks.
I haven’t heard anyone talking about what’s going on in TWW lately, either, so I don’t imagine it’s all that investing.
I don’t… hate, the writing in Dragonflight, so far?
Like. I have been a violent FROTHING RAGING detractor of almost everything Blizzard’s created since pretty much late MoP onward but this, now, feels alright. Maybe it’s just the lingering stillness of a 3 year absence but Dragonflight feels okay. Not amazing, but not offensive or stupid to me.
Or maybe it was, y’know, all the controversy and litigation.
Cleaning my garage today. Its HUMID
I don’t hate Veilguard so far. I played a chunk of DA:O but did not finish it, and I haven’t played any other game in the series. So, for me, the offloading of information at the front end wasn’t so terrible. I don’t really know the world so well, though I remember the fade being a little scarier in Origins. But having it explained to me in laymen’s terms is, while questionable from a storytelling perspective, not rage inducing for me yet.
There’s some corny dialogue. There’s some pretty good dialogue. I don’t mind some casual talk, because it allows the moments of gravity to respectively pull. We shall see how the game proceeds as I am not very far in, but that’s my take so far.
From a technical perspective, it shouldn’t take 20 mins for the shaders to render each time I get in the game. That is annoying. Not sure who else is running against that but I’ve never had that issue anywhere else.
tbh, you quit at the right point of BFA.
the corruption stuff was so stupid, and Nzoth felt so shoe horned in.
Other than that I enjoyed that expansion, but Nazjatar was for sure the last decent part of it.
I actually really enjoyed the horrific visions
I don’t enjoy borrowed power. It was awesome when Twilight Dev proc’d and a pack was deleted but it also reminded me my buttons didn’t matter as much as the effects on my gear.
I dont mind it. It doesnt really matter, they could have named it Warlock Twilight and made it a class ability and it would be the same thing, it not being “you” is all mental.
The stuff i dont like about stuff like that are the grinds attached to them.
If you got behind in corruption that patch, you would get one shot by w/pvp who had kept up. I know that doesnt affect everyone, but having such huge disparities in power locked behind grind, grind thats often unrelated to your main interest in the game, doesnt feel good.
Nazjatar should have been the big, underwater cyclopean ruin that we saw in the warbringers cinematic, but instead we got a giant hill to roll down full of mer-people.
Shadowlands had ONE good thing, the warrior build where you just spammed execute constantly, and they didn’t keep it
Back on Baten Kaitos now that October is over. Gotta finish this before I pick up Mario&Luigi!!!
I liked Torghast but I also played a monk that if I got the right power ups, I had an AoE Touch of Death with no cool down so I just ran around spamming it and murdering entire runs lmao.
If they made delves play like Torghast and threw in insane power ups, that would rock. I’m starting to get fatigued on them trying to fill out my vault every week but if they threw in the Torghast power ups and level up components I’d have a lot of fun with it.
Thank you for taking care of the little beasty. Cats have a special place in my heart. When I was three years old, someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I said a cat.
Anyway, when I was a kid, there was a young stray cat that took up with us that we thought was a female - for over a year. It was like he suddenly became a tom cat when he was around 2. Our Vet said that is not uncommon. And he was a brown tabby. He got renamed Thomas T. Katz, by my dad.
ok how do we feel about The Police? i am talking about the rock band from the 1980s. what is ur favorite song by them because mine is whichever one i’m thinking of at that point in time and i really am just vibing to them a lot lately.

These The Police. Do not talk to me about other forms of police, i do not care about them.
i think i like Men At Work more but The Police are pretty great.
I would love to put multiple likes to this thread. You cannot bring up The Police or Sting, the lead singer, without mentioning their song Roxanne.
From that era, Duran Duran, The Cars, and U2 are good bands also.
Cheers!
PS: I would like to mention two movies from that era “Heavy Metal” and “This Is Spinal Tap”.
lol, this happens. Sometimes it’s just not clear. Right now, I have another stray cat target who is about the same age/size as Ollie but his “coin purse” is… well, let me just say I could see those things from two yards away. There’s zero chance in any gender mistakes for that little guy.
As for Ollie, he has stopped eating and I’m unsure why. There have been delays in placing him in foster and either he’s having a medical complication or is genuinely depressed with still being in a crate (extremely valid). Though I’m at capacity, I’ve begun the process of integrating him into my foster room so he will have a bigger space and potential friends. Downside is he is still undergoing de-worming protocol so he’ll still have to be kept separate, but at least he’ll be in a room with windows and other kitties.
Tea in the Sahara
Alternately, I Burn for You from the movie Brimstone and Treacle. TBH I probably like that one better.
I was never much a Police fan, but if I had to I’d probably pink “Can’t stand losing you”. Decent tune.
The 80’s was a vibe. It’s so interesting to see young people get into the music and movies. I had a blast.
