Never played that game. Monks in wow are cool but the whole pet thing turn me off big time. When I think of monks I think of goku or ryu.

Yes Iā€™m sure having 100% uptime cooked into your rotation was very fun and easy to play. Thank god thatā€™s gone.

I remember dueling in MoP a monk friend of mine and we would go for a long time; well one fight we timed out the duel flag again, afterwards someone who was watching and said it looked like watching a DBZ fight with all the teleporting and spinning fire blossoms shooting everywhere.

How do people think ww is somehow a pet class?! Yes, there are occasional summons with the hero talent, but theyā€™re largely cosmeticā€¦ the class is almost exactly the same as it has always been sans a weird channel button.

Because itā€™s base burst isnā€™t controlled by the player, but instead controlled by terrible AI.

Itā€™s a full blown pet spec now.

Who needs dampening when you can just have the WW port to the sky and start charging a spirit bomb that wipes the continent in 2.5 minutes.

Balance can be nailed down. I just dont find a martial arts melee fighter spec fitting of summoning pets. If you want me to use the celestials then make eaxh one of them a different power up likeā€¦ make xuen be the ssj3 power up for damage and yulon the ultrainstinct defensive cd.

Make the monk be infused by the celestialsā€¦ not summon them.

BM hunters have way more of a Zoo than WW. They only need to shoot you once and then run away all game while their 10 pets kill you.

Not to mention that Storm, Earth and Fire doesnā€™t actually work a lot of the time. And Ring of Peace is glitchy as well. And I hate Touch of Karma because itā€™s pretty hard to get targeted correctly to even be able to cast it.

After I seeing this season Monk pvp elite set I made a WW for the first time.
WW was the most fun of the 4 elite sets i set out to get, low key WW new main.

Celestial is kinda lame though with all the pets.
BUT as a base class its awesome, way more fun then ret and rogue IMO.
wish more damage came from RSK and FoF.
