This nerf feels like it’s a reaction mostly to M+ damage numbers and does it even address why WW is doing so much damage there right now? Looking at logs anywhere from 50% to 65% of a WW total damage comes from SCK, clones (doing SCK) and bdb which were untouched… It seems like this will mostly just be a huge nerf to ST damage.

I been doing a lot of bgs on the DH, guess what… I die too. Yeah, i still sit top every time, but that’s plain skill.
I have sat on warlocks through eye beam, meta, full cd dump, into my real meta, another dump… and they STILL GOT OVERSHIELDS, or get ALLL their health back.

Someone needs to be on top of the pack for PVE, why not monks? Locks were like 20% for a large chunk of SL.
and they will for DF too. Warlocks were doing great on beta and they got buffed today.

Honestly I’d love to see motc removed from the game and things balanced accordingly. It’s been such a massive outlier with the spec the entirety of SL and the only reason I think it wasn’t obliterated further after s1 was because that was all that WW had left to be a playable spec.

Dance has a ppm of 2. It’s no where near an issue and never has been even when it was stackable in BFA.
I’m sorry what? Between giving us one of the spikiest RNG AoEs in the game, and being so strong that it puts people in PvP in the damn spin cycle, I’d say it causes quite the issue.
Randomly causing SCK to do 200% more damage is far more of a concern than MotC which is nerfed by like 60% and target capped.
No one cares about your mini game. Go to the pvp forums to complain about that.
Everything else you are saying is irrelevant in PvE. Comparing a proc talent to one that makes you ignore your mastery and the rest of your kit completely is asinine.
Damage nerfs are nothing.

Xuen lasting 20 secs instead of 24.

stuff like that actually hurts because those will most likely stay with the class for years, where as damage changes every patch.
Xuen being 20 seconds was the original duration of the ability and now it matches the ID haste buff. This isn’t a terrible nerf honestly.
TotM nerf is barely noticeable on live and beta.
The XBG change is the most noticeable of the 3 on beta because of our tier bonuses.

MotC doesn’t make you ignore your mastery though. BDB does. I’m still surprised it’s lasted this long considering the last time we broke mastery on purpose, what caused it got deleted from the game in 2 weeks.
All that said, DoCJ is still leagues worse in balance than MotC.

It amps SCK far beyond what MotC is bound to, which is 90% after conduits go away and 140% now if you have Calculated Strikes. Meanwhile DoCJ amps SCK by 200% which has resulted in very spiky and RNG based AoE for us. And it is so strong, that it is capable of deleting players in PvP, or simply put it causes SCK to crank in ST too while being an AoE spell.
It’s not bad performance. It’s bad design. Trading consistency for RNG is almost never a good thing.
