Because you say so?
Sorry, but me and my friends are enjoying having group content to do that’s actually easy. There are literally dozens of raids you can do solo right now.

Shadowlands raids should be group content but content 2 expansions old should fall over.
Because that was blizzard philosophy pre shadowlands. Duh
No one cares that you are that you need a group to do old raids.
For a very brief time in the game’s history. I had people paying me to solo Molten Core for them in Catalcysm.
Just use the group finder.
How about get good and dont beg blizzard to ruin old raid soloing for others
Are you seriously telling somebody soloing the content you guys are complaining about to “get good”? I’m literally working on BFA raids while you guys cry about being unwilling to grab a friend to two man an instance.

Use the group finder.
Stop ruining my old raid solos because you want to kill things with a single button?
At max in greens BFA raids should fall over as well. If not then the scaling is still broken and unacceptable. I AM KRUMTOILET!!!
All Hail Krumtoilet!
You are correct in explaining how higher-level differences and better stats and better gear make and have always made soloing easier.
You are wrong in stating relative power between players and content has stayed consistent from pre-stat squash to post-stat squash.
Stating that one should gain more gear or levels to succeed where they are currently struggling under the current design is a valid argument.
Telling people asking about why the current design has effectively nerfed relative player power that this is how it has always been is not.
I do think some in this and other similar threads expect too much as it has typically taken Blizzard time to adjust or add skips to wonky mechanics that cause issues solo, but that is a separate issue from the scaling change with Shadowlands that effectively nerfed relative player power in legacy content.
I think FF is going to see another huge wave of WoW refugees if this isn’t addressed IMO.
Personally for me I think I am going to take some time off to work on my garden until BlizZard decides to work at a pace faster than glacial speed to fix scaling in old raids.

I made a spreadsheet and tracked enemy HP and my TTK both pre and post patch of various legion and BFA raid bosses. I saw very little difference between the pre and post patch kill times, with legion being slightly faster and BFA slightly slower. My talent build when testing post patch was terrible though, and I might retest those TTK with my better build and see if the times drop.
The broken scaling of old raids is the straw that broke the camel’s back for me in Shadowlands and sent me to FFXIV.
The irony here is too much for me to handle

Just put them on ignore, it’s really the only place for them and other trolls like them. Numbers have been publicly posted showing things are broken, there is no counter argument to that. People claiming everything is fine clearly don’t know what they are talking about but we should appreciate the topic bumps.
There’s no “broken scaling”, what are you even talking about.
I’ve yet to see anything that says that. My own checks have shown that soloing old content is just as viable now as it was in 9.2. Legion mythic raid content is easier, and BFA content should be the same since while the enemies health got slightly bumped up, your damage should be higher now too with the new talents (I went from 23k to 30k for example).
You could actually do the content from the previous expansion pack too at least I did so on my Druid.
But yes, the ilvl matters a lot, which is why gearing your transmog farming char is important.
We got super weak after pre patch outside of SL content. There’s not tier sets anymore, legendaries doesn’t work. I felt that is really tedious solo Antorus bosses now.
Yeah the gas lightning on the subject of broken scaling is tiresome from the usual trolls.
The examples of broken scaling in older content is numerous at this point and has been an ongoing issue. But now it has become worse with prepatch release.
This is a major problem for not only existing players but returning/new players that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

How does this affect new / returning players?
Trying to do old content impacts these players badly.
This happened when they botched scaling in WoD and it is happening now. This is a lose/lose/lose for existing, returning and new players.
Fix scaling in older content because that matters just as much as endgame content with the way WoW has progressed over time.
