Wtf is up with SS lobbies?

I get 3 times in a row easy lobbies where somebody ragequits in the 2nd round, then a 3 warrior 1 assa rog lobby where the rog goes 5-1… somebody kill me irl

What did I do that blizz gives this punishment? and now I lost 50 cr and mmr… I demand my rating back, for this is wasting time and money of the whole effort to gain rating

If you get in touch with John Blizzard you can see about getting a CR reimbursement.

The ragequite shouldn’t count as a lost for the teamates.

Thats stupid.

It’s usually the first few lobbies of the day. Completely a pattern where you get queued with leavers and junkies. I have no idea how/why but I see this on every character every week. After several lobbies, it clears up for a bit then repeats if you have a string of wins again. My guess is that it’s a queuing strategy that’s being utlized by boosters.

That’s only for special occasions, I call it the “Dozer Special”

you dirty son of a biscuit! /rage

Buddy we tried this and it rendered the mode unplayable

its rigged. i qeued my hunter yesturday and i had somebody with a disarm in my lobby every single match saw more mw monks and ww monks than on any other toon and they have a ranged disarm… i get on my rogue and it’s nothing but demon hunters and people with full stun DR where i become useless,

every time i lose its -50 -50 -50 -50 but when i win even if im playing at my mmr its +30 +15 +30 +25

the system is rigged to give you nothing but comps that counter your class, and players in your lobbies with low winrates and no gear to artificially inflate the amount of games you need to play to reach your goal so you are more likely to pay for another one month sub

my shadow priest has played nothing but double melee 90% of it’s matches when shadowpriest is an anti caster caster

on my mage i see nothing but druids

I’m not gonna lie, the lobbies in the 1900-2.2k range are just miserable. I’ve fallen there a few times on alts and I just ditch the character after getting the elite set.

People not pressing defensives, people in greens, no respect for DRs, people QQing, precog city, leavers, blah blah blah.

The further you go down, the more the games feel like RNG. If you manage to swing a couple wins in a row, the game mode becomes a lot more engaging.

Yeah I tried SS and didnt take me long to not do it again

I had an affliction warlock in a mid 1800 lobby against all melee give up after the first round. He put up a valiant struggle and it was a really close first round, rogue on the other team was at like 10% hp when the warlock died.

Then he gave up for the next 5 rounds and just sat in mid on his mount.

If you’re going to queue into SS as a warlock how are you then salty about the melee pain train lobby lol?

My arcane mage that I started playing got placed into a tank lobby too which I didn’t actually know was even a thing. No healers, just two prot pally and the windwalker monk gave up because he was just getting blown up in 4 gcds on the opener. That lobby I was sympathetic to him because it’s just blizzard trolling us.

agree 100% if you’re on a main/character you’re trying to make a serious push on

I don’t really fault anyone for gear, not pressing cds, proccing precogs, or even leaving depending on the reason(s) [e.g., it can still be frustrating but I don’t fault anyone], but the QQ is kinda insane ngl.

Regardless if a loss was due to someone not having gear, overlapping cds, bad positioning, not pressing cds, etc., it’s comical how much trash and/or toxic commentary is spewed in this mmr range, as if everyone else on the team (or in the lobby) played at the awc/r1 level.

I usually just ignore, but inside I’m like “bruh, this is literally starter mmr rn, chill out and let me learn my alts in piece”.

I think the ones constantly raging are usually the mains that are legitimately stuck despite full gear, whereas the people who are gearing, learning a new spec/alt, etc. are pretty chill. It definitely sucks to lose rounds due to people not pressing cds or eating a cc they could have easily avoided, but tbh it should be expected at the mmr range where people are gearing or often learning a new spec/alt including figuring out keybindings (imo).
