WTF , Bee mount only for Alliance?

Actually I wouldn’t care to be honest though the mount is cool and I can see what folks are saying being a druid I’m happy with my flight form. Yet is their really a reason to be whining about all this. Blizzard is out to make money it’s a business and if they can make the bee for alliance it’ll convince some folks to make one play the other faction and keep them playing the game either subscription or popping money for tokens.

People who don’t play both factions at 120 don’t really deserve a say on the subject imo

See how easy that is?

if the situation was reversed. i would understand the alliance complaints and support them. what you fail to realize is this establishes and sets a precedent where in the future they could create another unique model and only accessible by a max level horde down the road. i am against this method

I give this thread a -1/10

I think it would look great on any of the elves b/c it makes that faerie parallel stronger. But again I’m not that worried.

Alliance should get cool stuff to even out the factions.

Short answer - yep.

And YOU should read the replies. They’re not horde exclusive, you can unlock them for alliance if you get them as horde. Yet it’s apparently not the other way around according to the PTR.

I’m aware Alliance players can use the mounts if they get them on their Horde characters (no need to be rude). However, the mounts can only be gotten through Horde exclusive quest lines (I should have been more clear but my point was there had already been a lot of threads made prior to this one and I did say it was the short version) - which the Alliance has not had until now.

We don’t know for sure if the bee will actually be only used by Alliance yet - one of the aforementioned Horde mounts also only showed as Horde on ptr yet is available to Alliance so this could just be the same thing.

Id just like to point out how hypocritical it is for the faction that constantly complains about getting reskinned horses to be parading those two mounts around as a fair equivalent to the completely new model bee mount. Exactly how many mounts exist in the game that have the same or similar model to those two dino mounts? And they are even available to both factions.

Truth be told, I don’t care about the alliance getting yet another super special privilege. I just laugh that alliance constantly calls anything they get as fair because of “reasons” while complaining about Horde bias in the next breath.

“Everyone! Look at how much I don’t care! See? I don’t care!”

Imagine if in order to get the bee mount, the Alliance will have to turn on WM for a week. Then both sides won’t get the bee mount.

Glad you asked. In BFA Horde get:

  • Free rep bonus and PVP talents at all times when out questing. This is because all Horde have warmode on while almost all Alliance have it off. The warmode bonuses are essentially free for Horde. Alliance never get them.

  • Rep mounts that are NOT horses - Horde got a fun variety of new rep mounts in BFA. All Alliance got were horses. EVERY new rep mount for Alliance in BFA was a Horse.

  • Better racial abilities - BFA continues the decade-long tradition of giving Horde better racial abilities than Alliance. This trend has gradually resulted in a much larger population of Horde raiders and PVP’ers than Alliance has. It’s not surprising that all world firsts are dominated by Horde and this is the reason.

To paraphrase from a friend:

“If you want to be a yellow-fuzzed, black-striped, amber-eyed bee mount… sorry? The Alliance is there waiting for you.”

Im glad you have something of incredible substance to add to my points.

Which ones are so much better?

The Zandalari troll racials are considered to be vastly better overall than the Kul Tiran human racials.

For the other races it isn’t necessarily that they are better now. Rather it’s the perception that they were better.

Back in Vanilla, the population was over 60% Alliance. Horde was a definite minority. But in the years since Vanilla, the population has gradually shifted the other way. So much so that virtually all the real PVP’ers play Horde and all the world firsts are Horde.

That gradual shift to Horde occurred over many years. But the driving force behind it was that the perception that Horde had better racials so if you were a serious player you needed to go Horde.

By who? for what spec? For me zandalari ranks #5

So its not better but people think they are? Sounds like a really solid argument

Perceptions matter.

A slight imbalance in factions can cause players to switch factions. Result is the slight imbalance becomes significant.

It’s why Warmode is so horribly broken today.
