Wtb the return of twinks

Yeah, while I dislike the separation I understood why it happened, I wish they would have went with a better method, like re establishing the templates for leveling BGs, to allow us to stay able to participate, instead of basically removing a sect of the communities ability to properly do battlegrounds.

you’re opinion is not valid as you don’t have a clue - Now, the people that complain about twinks being too OP need to stop and have a look at themselves !

How healthy was twinking in Legion? By my recollection, it was not.

Pencil and paper RPGs would call that a Munchkin. IE “legal, but horribly imbalanced and broken.”

Any GM worth his salt would see a munchkin and go out of their way to crush them, assuming they didn’t say “no, I’m not permitting this character to join the group.”

Now one-trick ponies who excel in one field but are useless in other fields can easily be a self-correcting example of a munchkin character. A god of combat can quickly find that trolling all his “points” into combat skills will run into issues the second their character need to be Social, deal with puzzles, or simply cannot punch a problem into submission.

Agreed. Never a big fan of doing random BGs. I always participated in the War Games. Would have been cool to have levelers actually compete in Random BGs imo.

Depended on the bracket, it wasnt flourishing like say, back in wotlk, but it was there. As of now it’s pretty much dead outside of a few small groups who manage to pull something together once or twice a week.

The thing is, it was still far healthier then it is now, yeah we gave up some power to BG, but we had that choice to do so.

Twinking was quite strong in legion. Griftah helped out a lot.

You can still twink. Only thing is that has changed is that you cant just murder undergeared people trying to level or just do pvp. I mean im sure its hella fun for you to just kill with no effort at all but im afraid there are more than you playing this game.

Have fun facing some actual real competition in bgs!

It was only murder if they walked into a bg with gear looking like they came out of a starting area, enchants and consumables are a thing that some people don’t know or realise that can help them

I can see from the editing you did that you chose to leave out the critical information that made it make sense.

“xp off”/“xp on” players or brackets or what?

Your excerpt made no sense without that context.

And in any case, the fact that they chose to force twinks from the game rather than come up with a solution that worked for all is simply a demonstration that they are trying to shrink the game to one single pre-approved spoonfed gameplay style. Which you fully support.

When they come for your fun stuff, you too will be anathema.

Well now you get to play with people who are just as prepared as you

You mean, now twinks don’t get to play at all. How is that “playing with people as prepared” as they are?

We don’t because we don’t get pops… read up

Not entirely true. A new 120 is going to get murder by you. (I hope ofc)

No other way of leveling requires gems/enchants to not get murdered constantly.

BGs shouldn’t either.

Very true a geared 120 pre made v not so geared 120s is a similar situation isn’t it?

Or murdered by me.

So the twinks didnt think it was fun to play anymore once it wasnt easy going? Welp sucks to be you.

You’re right. People who do bgs should never put gems in their sockets. They should not care at all about gear. That way they will suddenly start caring about it when they reach 120, just as they will suddenly start doing dungeons when they reach 120 after being trained to avoid them throughout leveling.

After all, isn’t the end game for most elites whining about the majority of players?
