It might as well be a reboot if you are a no changes purist.
Let’s just change the whole game because of you tho
That is totally reasonable

You won’t need it with all the gold you’ll be saving with dual spec
So you lost the argument in the other thread so you come here instead…
Why can you not accept that dual spec belongs in wotlk classic and onwards, but does not belong in tbc classic.
I find this odd. You came back just to play TBC classic, yet according to the no changes vanilla purists in the community ,TBC became too casual friendly, or too “retail” to use today’s nomenclature.
I’ve explained why I don’t want the progression of “future” expansion content crammed into earlier expansions.
I’m fine with the expansions being released progressively and for people to play the one they enjoyed. Not to turn the one I enjoy into a mash up of all the games. Keep them separate. Or don’t, and play retail.
I vote for or don’t. You can leave anytime the changes become to much for you. I’m hoping to dual spec on my boosted druid.
You can play retail anytime you want for the features you’re asking for.
The QoL changes dont make tbc or wotlk “retail”. The game mechanics of classes remain in tact. The pvp combat gameplay remains in tact. The gameplay for raids stays in tact. That’s what truly makes the game feel different from retail. stuff like down ranking and resource management.
Are you like a WoW classic must be cannon purist?
I’m not. While vanilla, tbc, and wotlk are good games, there are still aspects of the game them that can be improved upon/fixed. We are already playing a finished game after all. We don’t get to experience all the things pre nerfed/pre buffed. I don’t get to play the adrenaline rush prep spec because this is 2.4.3. which isn’t a big deal because I’d rather play a balanced game(or where balancing left off) than explore my curiosity of that spec. Resilience affects dot which didn’t happen til S4. Resto druid healing got nerfed in season 4.
Muru in sunwell has #somechanges. Pre nerf was probably too hard but they over nerfed it in a patch. Now we have a blizzards modern take on the muru encounter which will be interesting.
Nah, I’m gonna stick with BC. I really like how they’re changing it. That’s why I paid for a boosted druid. I’m really looking forward to what changes they’re gonna bring to the game next. It’s not like I like all the changes. I was planning on buying the mount too but it was too ugly for me to ride. So I get where you’re coming from. Even though most of the changes were good there might be one you don’t like. You just have to take the good with the bad
Retail doesn’t have vanilla through wotlk gameplay/class mechanics.
You know I thought the mount was ugly too. Couldn’t imagine why people would pay money for it or not delete it out of there bags.
But now I’ve realized that it can be used as an obnoxious flex to anger the #nochanges purists
Until they get changed because people wanted it.
Until that gets fixed because people wanted it.
Until that gets updated because people wanted it.
If Blizzard got people to re subscribe on the lie that they were re-releasing old content that was true to the original, then they will lose those same people when they start meddling with things.
One change is not just one, because everyone wants one little thing that would make the game better for them.
Boosts were added, they messed up the game a little. But since we have boosts, we can just add dual spec and mess up the game a little. Then we can add cross realm grouping, and faction changes, and race changes, and gender swap, and whatever everyone wants because why not?
Why bother releasing the expansions at all?
It’s hard to find any on my server. No one cares at all when I tell them I boosted a druid.
You mean you didn’t know about the changes they made to Classic. And you didn’t realize they added a paid boost, pally seal change, and drum change to BC? Come on, you didn’t really think they were re-releasing old content without changes.
People are asking for QoL changes not gameplay/mechanics changes.
The game is still in tact from a gameplay pov even with boosts. TBC still feels like TBC.
Dual spec doesn’t effect game mechanics. Wrath is not retail.
The only thing you mentioned that would change the feel of the game is crossrealm grouping due to the social aspect of the game changing because players are server locked.
People are asking for all kinds of changes.
They don’t want TBC.
And most of them are QoL I believe
QoL is not the same for everyone, and sometimes is the opposite depending on the person.
If you don’t like TBC, and want wotlk, then wait. Or ruin TBC with QoL crap then abandon it to go to wrath.
Didn’t want them, didn’t need them.
Didn’t demand fixes that I knew were coming in later expansion content. Just waited.
Example: Hunter dead zone sucked. But I knew it was better in TBC. Yet, I managed to enjoy both. And I didn’t need it “fixed” in vanilla.
I know respec is expensive - I knew that, it wasn’t a shock to me. So I made a dps alt to farm, or I just farm in resto spec. It’s not hard. I don’t need the game “fixed” for me.
