I was sent SCAM GOLD by a BOT thru the MAIL that I DID NOT ASK FOR and DID NOT BUY.
Please unban me; I did NOTHING WRONG.
You need to submit an appeal ticket using the link in the notification you received. Protesting and proclaiming your innocence accomplishes nothing in this “players helping players” forum.
Okay sorry, first time in the forums. I’ve put in an appeal ticket saying roughly the same thing.
Just to set your expectations on how appeal tickets work.
Appeal tickets are meant as a request for a GM (will be a different GM for each appeal) to look over a penalty and decide whether it shall stand (i.e., evidence supports the penalty) OR to decide to withdraw the penalty (i.e., evidence shows the penalty was made in error).
It is not meant as a form of communication where one pleads their case.
We can continue to submit appeals until they tell us that no more appeals will be accepted in reference to that penalty.
Okay, so continually appeal until I can’t or something changes? Got it, thank you kindly.
You already have 3 tickets open, Toniv.
One at a time is plenty.
Understood and my apologies. I’ll close them.
It’s fine to leave them open - just don’t need any more.
I have asked this be looked into.
Thank you kindly. I was upset and felt gaslit by this whole thing. I just don’t want to be punished for something I didn’t do.
Here is a silly question. I’ve never had to appeal anything once they tell you no more appeals what happens if you continue to appeal anyway – Just always wondered (though I think I know)
They could penalize your whole Battle Net account for GM harassment if you were to continually submit tickets on a subject they have told you repeatedly is closed. At least that is my understanding from other posts I have seen.
That is what I suspect too but was just curious is all, thanks!
This appears to be resolved, please check your email, Toniv.
The group who handles appeals has ALWAYS been able to reverse account actions that have been by mistake.
They can indeed also see chat logs that are recent (like last couple of weeks).
Glad thhat got worked out for you.
I got suspended once for something I didn’t do. Someone hacked my account, stole and resold my gold, and I got suspended for it. And they even banned my forum account when I tried to get help.
This is normal. If an account has been detected as compromised, Blizzard will lock it down to prevent it being used for further nefarious things.
Odd - did you break forum rules?
Did you submit a compromised account ticket?
Just gonna close this now, thanks all.
