Wrongful Ban please help

Hey, all! I was recently wrongfully banned but cannot get blizzard to listen to my appeal seriously. they claim to have looked into my case and determined they were correct in assuming i was using third party software which is 100% impossible and if a person had reviewed my logs or gameplay or anything they would have seen that i was indeed playing the game without third party software 100%. this ban comes after i spent tons and tons and TONS of hours this summer on Remix preparing for TWW release. i have had this account for 12+ years and its my most prized possession and to have it taken away wrongful has me both feeling devastated and fearful of playing the game as my account and progress can seemingly be taken away wrongfully with blizzard having zero interest in writing their wrong. I have written two appeals and received a warning to not submit anymore. i cannot give up on retrieving this account. does anyone here have any advice on how to get blizzard to truly look into my case? thanks, all. i miss you all terribly :frowning:

i am posting from a different char on my battlenet. they banned one of my accounts but not all of them. which also seems interesting if they think a player is worthy of a perma-ban

Good luck. I have heard that their third-party detection software can catch false positives sometimes.

If they have already warned you about submitting more you could be out of luck. Ask me how I know.

it seems to surprisingly often. thats why im just hoping a human can review my logs even if just for a few mins it would be easy to tell i was not breaking TOS

a human has already reviewed your situation. that’s what the “do not submit additional requests” means. sorry but you’re out of luck here.

It’s been 10 years since something similar happened to me and once every few I will send in another ticket hoping. But yea, it’s either ignored or they send something back saying it was resolved and stop sending tickets.

how often do they pick up normal everyday stuff as 3rd party software? Like nvidia overlay, logitech gaming software, razer software, etc.

i hope not often because i do have pieces of software like those, but nothing that does anything that breaks TOS

what made them think you were using third party programs…I need a little bit more context. Were you on like 16 hours a day, did you do something that could be flagged, what is exactly.

if this is true then their staff is radically untrained in that it would be impossible to watch my inputs and gameplay and logs and think i was breaking TOS. absolutely no way.

you can try that argument but i wouldn’t count on it helping your case.

Their Warden program scans your computer for them when you play.

If OP had something automation related running in the background that Warden didn’t like, it could get him banned even if it wasn’t being used for WoW. Unfortunately I’m not sure how much power they have to investigate that.

i dont know because they dont tell you. i have no idea what time of day or realm or version of the game or character or computer or internet or ANYTHING. thats why playing the game now is me just playing in fear of coming home to another wrongful ban. they only say breaking TOS or using third party. i OFTEN play the game for 16 hours straight. especially during Classic or MOP Remix ( i played hundreds of hours during Remix)

Try Customer Support but probably best try is to go for social media maybe Reddit sometimes you might get better response and chance there.
