My account was suspended for 7 days for chat abuse. I was adverting mara carries in the services and zone channels. No confrontational language with anyone. Please please unban me I did nothing wrong

There are no GMâs on the forums.
Even if you didnât say anything that would be rule-breaking, your suspension couldâve been a result of either advertising in the wrong channel or your advertisements became spammy, and your realm mates felt it was a bit too much.
The only thing you can do is appeal until they tell you to stop. Keep in mind that itâs not for you to plead your case only to see if an error was made in the punishment handed down.

Emphasis mine. It sounds like you were nicked for possible spamming which would be a valid report and sanction. âAbusive chatâ is simply the term Blizzard uses to encompass the gamut of chat violations.
An SFA may pop in to clear it up, but submitting an appeal ticket is the only way to have a second look at this.

If you were advertising anywhere but the Trade Services channel then you likely got reported for doing that. It is considered spam, and advertising in the wrong channel, and not allowed.
All chat infractions are considered âabuse of the chat systemâ. So while you did not say anything horrible from the sound of it, improper advertising is still under the âabusive chatâ category.
If that is what it was for, you will want to stick to using only the proper advertising channel.

Even if your message is both fine and in the correct channel (which it doesnât seem like it was here), sending it too frequently can also get you in trouble for spam.

How much were you spamming it? How often? What was the content of said spamming? All those things are factored into chat abuse. Though in any case, what you got banned for is rarely anything to do with what you were doing in that moment. And very often it ends up being shown that it was something from a week to a month ago that they dropped an F-bomb or something and someone decided to report it.

Advertising such as yours in places anywhere besides âserviceâ channel is against TOS as it is considered as spam.

So, yeah, you were spamming. Thatâs absolutely worthy of a chat penalty. The fact that itâs a 7-day suspension and not a 7-day silence indicates itâs not your first, either.
Stick to one channel, and be mindful of how often you post your ad.

Just to clarify this, stick to the Trade (Services) channel. That is the only place where you can advertise carries.
But also, there are still the other restrictions on advertising in that channel. Spam rules are always in effect, so watch how often you are posting it, plus make sure that you are advertising on the character who intends to complete the run, not a random level 1.
