I haven’t played since 2009, just subscribed and logged on to play and my character when i left was level 60, now it shows he is level 30. I deleted the cache folder like it says in the self help area and no luck still level 30.
That’s correct. We’ve had a level / stats squish.

There was a lvl squish 30 is hte new 60.

Look at it this way if u came back at lvl 60 which is the max lvl you would be terribly undergeared this way you can get better gear before you go to shadowlands.

Actually, old level 60’s got squished down to level 25. The squish divided your old level by 2.6 or so.
Flying is now only obtainable on new toons that hit level 30. Old level 60’s who were squished to level 25 however, were grandfathered in and kept their flying.
Something similar happened with level 40’s who had fast ground riding. The got squished to 18 and kept their fast ground speed. New toons have to be level 20 to get fast ground riding.
