Greetings!
I wanted to make a thread for all of you folks that write. We’re all WoW players here, and I’m sure tons of us have amazing creativity. I think we’re allowed to share our works if they’re free (but a mod can correct me if I’m wrong). Or at least some segments of them, yeah? Perhaps give writing advice and of course talk about our characters and stories.
This applies to any WoW character stories too, if you have some you’d like to share. Anyway, have at it!
I just finished editing a book I wrote years ago. It has over 100k words in it, and man did it have a LOT of errors. But! I just got through editing it for a while, and it’s gone very well. I’m a vampire fan, so it’s about a huntress that’s not entirely human (We find out she’s half dragon) that teams up with a powerful vampire to take down an evil king (incidentally, protagonist vampire’s brother). They team up with some shifters, one of the protagonists being a Tasmanian devil.
In my story, the vampires are alive and not affected by sunlight. They have weakness to silver. There’s no cross or holy water weakness either, I’ve never like that in vampire mythos. Naturally, they have to consume blood to survive, and have the typical strength/speed/senses boost.
My shifters keep their mass. That means that when they shift, they turn into an animal of the same size they were as a human. This does not apply to dragons, though, which are a different species and can have two forms (much like WoW).
