i can hunt these guys down for ya
Luckily Blizz’s main focus is going to be the original post that explains the quest bug and not the troll posts. Thanks for the free bumps.
Bump! still not fixed!
Still not fixed would be nice!
you guys been asking about this post for a year plz just stop
We will continue to report on this bug in this thread with the same privilege you are allowed to report on the druid flight form Net-o-Matic bug in your thread.
I apologize for not seeing this sooner. To clarify if a player or players can be waiting for someone to appear there, yes but there are issues. The area that they port to (61:13 Voldun) is highly sharded and the time & effort required to locate an individual that just teleported is incredibly difficult and mostly left to chance if you are on the same shard. This of course does not substitute as a fix to the original quest bug which we are advocating for.
Since it’s been said numerous times, I’d like to address the players here suggesting to turn off Warmode:
Warmode has nothing to do with this bug. It can be used with Warmode on or off since the only requirement is to have a quest in your quest log that is obtainable regardless of a Horde player’s Warmode status. The repeated calls to turn off Warmode do not fix the bug and is not a substitute for correcting the faulty coding allowing for player teleportation.
With Warmode off a Horde player can still:
- Obtain the Wrath of the Tiger quest
- Travel to an Alliance hub
- Kill Alliance quest givers
- Abandon the Wrath of the Tiger quest to teleport away if the amount of guards becomes overwhelming
- Repeat
I do turn off Warmode at times, and I’m starting to see Horde players do exactly this with my Warmode turned off, most notably in Alliance starting hubs to prevent low level player from obtaining their quests even though they do not have Warmode on.
Bump still a issue! Please fix this exploit.
Bump! Still not fixed.
How about just not engaging with the players? If people are doing it with warmode on and off
That is not a substitute for a fix to the quest bug which we are advocating for.
This bug is still present, please investigate.
again, how are you certain these players are using such bug? Are you present with them by their computer?
It’s not difficult for someone to swap to a horde character and /who a player that was camping an area that suddenly vanished mid combat. Some people also play on multiple accounts simultaneously and can check right away if it’s suspected bug abuse. If it were an arena queue pop, the player would reappear shortly in the same location that they vanished from.
This does not change the fact that the bug still exists in the game as of today and is able to be used by any horde character that has not completed the Wrath of the Tiger quest.
