i dont need to cope, blizzard finally did something i wanted, i didn’t get past lvl 16 in som because they didnt buff gold rewards and i couldnt maintain my professions and keep skilling up with the rate of exp earnings, not being able to juggle multiple game features is boring to me so i quit. Not being able to boost had nothing to do with SoM failure, its extremely poor timing and minimal feature changes doomed it, not the boosting mechanics lmao.
Which is also irrelevant as boosting is an inherently cancerous gameplay feature that is against intended design and the game can only improve by forcing players to actually PLAY the game if they want to progress their character, at least until end game and RMT…
There was an interview with wowhead back before the initial announcement of WOTLKC that mentioned raids would be delayed a week. Can we get a clarification on how that will work and what the timing will be? Does that mean we get raids on Tues, the day after launch, 8days after launch, or perhaps that was a misquote and raids are unlocked on launch?
Congrats on finding your hutzpah!
Now get over your fragile ego and stop trying to line up your releases with other games’ releases.
FF14 does not see you as a competitor- you are your own competitor and the sooner you realize this, the sooner you can get over your ego and start making quality content again.
I’m going to assume you didn’t do professions like Mining/Blacksmithing. Maybe you did professions like “Tailoring/Enchanting” and so you’re more or lessed forced to buy things from the auction house to level it (but even then kind of not). But if blizzard boosted the gold reward from quests that would increase the reward for everyone and increase the supply of gold in the game. By increasing the supply of gold you create inflation and those precious profession materials become more expenses to compensate for it effectively making it cost the same amount of time to achieve the same thing no matter how much gold quests give.
