No they said the XP buff would last 6-8 weeks and end with WOTLK release. Prepatches have always typically been around 4 weeks long, since we are 8 weeks out we can expect about a month before prepatch

ah…time to see if ive learned anything in 14 years. 
Sept 26 is a Monday. I assume that means a day of playing and then maintenance downtime - which will serve to fix a lot of the probable day 1 bugs (beta is still quite buggy).
Also Sept 26 is the US date. Does it start Sept 27 in Oceania? Or is Oceania actually starting effectively earlier as has happened with the joyous journeys buff?
It’s probably the same type of schedule they used with TBC. I think some of those world launch maps are still available online.

It’s sad to read many of your comments. I’m just glad we get Wrath and you mouth breathing neckbeards have to have every detail spoon fed to you like the government subsistence check that goes towards paying your subscription fee. It’s sad to watch you all ruin the experience before it starts, and even worse knowing you don’t know your doing it to yourself.
