yeah ok bud. go back to retail (which includes wrath) and enjoy your button mashing adventure game. notice how i didn’t say RPG, because all the RPG elements have been stripped out of the game.

Here’s the thing… if everyone gets world buffs… then who cares? You’re not saving any time because the amount of time needed is the same. “Oh, but I love pumping!” It’s all relative… if everyone has it then it’s just a new floor…
World buff stacking seemed amazingly stupid to me and even Blizzard said that wasn’t a design decision, but a product of several designers doing their own thing.
World pvp was so much fun…
That only 1 server remains as a pvp server…
Because let’s be real Benediction and Faerlina aren’t pvp servers.
And if you had WoW classic again you’d have the same set up… so how is world pvp interesting when 95% of the population actively avoids it to point that it just doesn’t exist?

Can you make peace with Onyxia? Decide not to kill Rend? Not kill the Defias Brotherhood even when you know they are the actual good guys? An RPG requires choice or you’re not roleplaying anything.

95% of the population are not actively avoiding it tho, because people want fresh for it directly, and are playing fresh now for it.
What you witnessed in classic are simply people who don’t like vanilla or pvp in genera transferring to avoid it.
People roll on pvp servers all the time and hate pvp. These aren’t vanilla players who play vanilla for that reason. They thought they did but they didn’t.
Why will people play vanilla over and over again, rank, fight for resources, and grief world buffs?
Are they doing it cause they don’t like it?
Who is playing fresh now?
Those new servers that popped up? Are they even active?
There is a vanilla fresh out right now, and you see posts every day of people wanting a som2. Yes the recent fresh is active
there is no fresh vanilla out right now, unless you are referring to the highly illegal private servers.

Vanilla season of mastery is effectively over. I also doubt those are even 2 sided servers, not that I care because it’s over.
SoM wasn’t classic either.
People always say they want fresh. I don’t know how new you guys are to mmorpgs, but the interest in fresh servers doesn’t last very long.

Yes and? That’s true of any TLP, classic or nostalgia server.
It’s also why I was telling people that moving servers was a big dumb back at the start of wraith.
It’s why Blizzard wasn’t going to “fix the queues”.

Nope. Classic had a similar drop off to Wraith. Maybe a bit better because people had to level much longer.
So acting like Wraith is bad is kinda silly.

Only 1 balanced server would suggest otherwise. WoW is not WoW with these mega one sided servers…

I never said it would entirely save the game. It would however be a buffer for players to have access to content because of how most people play vs those that don’t. However, this would save the leveling part of the game, not the end game.
So, I’m going to tell you to drop on a player issue when it comes to the end game, not the leveling part of the game.

And that’s why wrath/dragonflight is the game for you. You get instant gratification and you only have to play 2 hours a week and you can spend the rest of the week doing your fortnite dances.
