Wrath hype is dying

I’ve become a Hero of the pro-RDF movement, I stand to benefit this community with my expert analysis on the state of the game.

Considering most of what you say is wrong I wouldn’t consider you having an expert opinion

First - I’m not sure that dude even has an 80. He’s a troll, just report his thread and move on.

This could not be further from the truth. Leveling in WotLK is extreamly fast. And so is gearing. It only takes the badges you get while leveling, and 2 world tours to be almost fully pre raid BiS. Just because you’re shockingly slow at something, does not mean the average person is. I work a full time job and have a family to spend time with… And I’m in nax 25 gear with minimal effort/time invested.

Yes there is… Herlooms and badge gear

Last I looked, the average person gets from 70 to 80 in a total of 26 hours of /played time. That to me seems SUPER slow, but that’s what the data showed. I’m assuming there was a bunch of AFK time in there boosting that number…

Anyways, the games been out a month now… Figure even the most casual person gets to play an hour or two a night, that’s well over 30 hours of time to level and do 2 world tours for pre raid bis. I’ve not seen anybody turned away from nax 10 as long as they have SOME gear on.

It was actually an xp per hour loss for me when I did the dungeon quests. So I skip them until 80 for the free gold.

Wrath is by far the most accessible the game has ever been. You can get into the first raid with hardly any gear requirements as a DPS, and gear is thrown at you via badges/rep rewards. Rep, by the way that is farmable with tabbards.

It’s built on the community of active players progressing via pvp or pve content. Every server I have characters on is extreamly active at all times of day/night. Do you even play Wrath Classic?

Actually the vast majority of pro RDF people report your threads too. I would not call you posting nonsense about it every day multiple times a day, being the “hero” of the RDF movement.

If anything, posts like yours hurt their cause more than help.

The only think dying is peoples ability to spot trolls and their puppet shows.

Stopped reading here. Youre not even worth arguing with because this is just pure trolling

Of course you did, because facts get in the way of the nonsense you posted.

All y’all’s nonsense gets in the way of common sense

one of my favorite things about wrath tho is that all of the content for phase 1 is just immediately released and you can grind your life away if you like to. There’s a defined finish line and it’s fun reaching it. it’s completely up to the player.

Your favorite thing is talking to yourself on the forum.

because Blizzard used it as a stopgap to give retail people something to do until DF.
As soon as DF is released you wont see another RDF post on this board since that was all the retail players, to begin with.

Hype for everything will always be higher than the thing itself. Not even Marvel can escape that with Avengers, yet you think Blizzard can?

Hype is a problem with consumers setting higher expectations than what’s meetable. It’s similar to the idea of “never meet your hero”.

I’ve slowed down with how much LK I play. I got a 10 day zucc on launch, still hit 80 before my guild’s week 1 raid (no logs Sadge), and been busting out everything I want. I now vibe and can do whatever I want whenever I want. It’s why I prefer Classic. I’d rather hit a wall and then be free over retail’s forever treadmill. I hated that I felt the need to log in daily to make sure I didn’t fall behind. I hated that I felt the need to push keystones and chain run the same instance for 6-12 hours on my off days at the chance of a trinket at +15.

More content does not mean better game.

Why you guys so mean to garmuck, he keeps the forums live and well .

Blood elves always have the worst takes lol

we told you so

no mister potato head. its because you didnt stop to think things out before you typed them. what you typed literally makes 0 sense or has anything to do with anything whatsoever. You cant buy heirlooms on a new character, so thats not a catchup mechanism. The fact that I even have to type that out is astounding

That is the truth. With out the person that is doing OPs with Garmuck, this forum would be virtually dead.

It would be exactly like the other forums that are still operated by a dev.

People would come to complain, but it would be about a variety of issues over the course of the day.

Thanks to people like that person and others this forum feels a lot like a realm board Circa. 2010.

I just think it’s weird and don’t understand it…

Now the classic Andys and the Anti-RDF fun bunch will have the servers to themselves to do whatever it is they do when they’re alone.

opie working hard to change that

Perhaps if he explained it in an implicit or explicit way, “we” may stop trolling his post.
