Wrath heroic daily dungeon should give raid consumes

This would keep the heroic dungeons relevant for raid geared players, while also making it easier to find groups for alts and new players just hitting 80. #somechanges ?

Daillys are relevant to geared players in wrath. They give two marks used for current raid level gear including tier. And once you have all those they can be traded for boe crafting mats. This alone was already enough to make people log in for there dailly heroic all tier in og wrath mainly since it was easy to que for them for a quickie to make money from the run plus the badges both the ones from bosses and the ones from the dailly.

We don’t really need more insentive more gets to the point where you are missing to much when you are unable to log that day which wrath already makes it feel like your punished for. If anything changing the dailly to weekly and requiring 7 runs that week would be a better change. Doing a higher reward while doing that I could get behind.

Really the best change would be a call to arms quest that if you tanked or healed Donno how they would track it without rfd thou that you got a bonus to keep those rolls filled as so long as there filled you got groups don’t really need to get others running just tanks and heals to make groups easier to find.

It sounds like retail is giving birth to a new litter of wrath babies. Play the dungeon if its fun, or don’t.

I like trying to make heroics more rewarding (with no RDF, I know personally I’ll avoid doing them unless its absolutely necessary), but it won’t be healthy for them to give raid consumes, as it’d devalue Alchemy. Giving flat gold would also hurt the economy…but I like your thought process. Maybe a random chance when finishing a heroic to be rewarded with a pet or a mount, etc.

Man, must be nice to just be able to do heroics.

No. Alchemist here who likes selling potions/elixirs and flasks.

Surprisingly not terrible idea. Most ideas posted here are garbo. This ain’t bad.

Yeah I really like the idea of that I mean I guess the question becomes where do you draw the line do you have it be like 3 of each health pots may be or 2 or 3 flasks I mean how what would that include I would wonder or is it just 3 of everything maybe?

But no yeah that’s not a bad idea at all and it would help keep the prices of consumables down Watch the spite cough cough Yeah what some people would say is always a good thing maybe they could push it a little bit further and let it include gems for Joe crafting and a oscil some enchantmats too.

Yeah that’s gonna be an issue I feel bad for any class that’s not a meta it’s the reason I’m rolling 1 of each of the tanks.

Just because if nothing else like well I can make my own group and you have a little bit more of a you know pull to get into things as a tank than you are as a DPS.

I still say #RfdThough

Let’s be clear and honest with ourselves for once - retail is 10000x harder than content that’s been cleared for decades. Therefore, there’s no point in posts like this

The dungeons (besides the ICC ones that came out) are pretty :face_with_diagonal_mouth: in WotLK

I like the suggestion in the OP, alternatively maybe we could purchase consumables (potions, not elixirs or flasks) with badges or something

Consumables are already significantly cheaper in Wrath than they have been in Classic so far. For the most part, if (and when) they add the raid-tier emblem daily for heroics, then you’ll still see them doing at least one dungeon.

Sadly, it won’t be as effective as it would have been had it been a daily RDF dungeon, as that would allow people who still need gear from heroics to target specific heroics without much difficulty in finding people.

I mean it already does that. There are just extra steps.

didn’t alliance get this for doing BGs in early tbc?
do you guys still have that?

They should make it so Valor badges (The 25 badges not the 10) allow you to buy consumables. But not ones better then you could get on the Alch, or if they wanted to just add in a new item for a buff. But they won’t do that lol.

Good question, i think they stopped when they let horde fight V horde, and due to the player back lash but i remember that.

We still have it, and it’s still largely trash. Sometimes you get something good (like a few mana pots), usually it’s pennies. It still is something but nobody is queuing for it.
